Dr. Kim is a Board-Certified Orthodontist - he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (a distinction held by a small percentage of orthodontists nationwide). Services
The finest metal braces system - computer-generated brackets made of high-grade stainless steel. Though high-tech, these metal braces are now more comfortable and smaller than ever. You also can add colored elastics to complete your look. Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing.
We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. This important 60-minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. We know your time is valuable, so to expedite treatment, we may also reserve time following the exam for diagnostic records. The records include X-rays, photos and impressions for study models and are necessary for developing the appropriate treatment plan.
True orthodontic emergencies are very rare, but when they do occur we are available to you. As a general rule, you should call the office when you experience severe pain or when you have a painful appliance problem that you can't take care of yourself. We'll be able to schedule an appointment to resolve the problem.
Now that you have your braces, how do you take care of them? It's important for you to know how to properly take care of your braces throughout your entire orthodontic treatment. Don't worry; you'll be eating popcorn and snacking on potato chips again in no time! However, before you can start enjoying some of the treats you love, you will need to take special care to avoid any foods that could damage your new appliances. When you first get your braces, you may notice that your teeth and mouth feel a little tender or sore.

I had a positive experience with Dr. Brian Kim and his team. I have nothing but good things to say about this location and the staff members. From the quality of their work to their professionalism and the end result. They show the same level of concern for their patients from the consultation to the end. I've waited two years for this review! I absolutely love Dr. Kim's office and the exceptional service that I have received for over two years now. From the first consultation session to each follow up thereafter, my visits have been markedly exceptional many thanks to the staffs' energy, from the receptionist, to the assistants, and of course Dr. Kim.
I am slated to have my braces removed after two more sessions and beyond excited for whats to come (I'll no longer have a buster smile, woooo!). Extremely saddened given I will no longer get to see everyone's wonderful faces. Would a hundred times over recommend you and your loved ones to support this local Orthodontist. Dr. K and his staff are 1 of 1. Wishing them continued success.

Im am finally a few weeks away from having my braces removed, I've had them on for 2 years and I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Kim and his staff. They are all so attentive, kind and go above and beyond for their patients. I truly could not have had a better experience. Dr. Kim is educated, organized, and just simply the best he really knows what he's doing.

Dr. Kim and his office are incredibly professional and warm at the same time. I never had braces before and needed them as an adult, so I was unaware of what to do. From consultation, the office made it very comfortable to step into a long term process. I would recommend this place to any adult in need of braces. There are many options available, but I chose the ceramic braces. My braces were subtle and often hard to notice! Thank you Dr. Kim!

My daughter was being followed for the better part of a year and Dr. Kim kindly provided a plan. I was confident in entrusting my daughters care with them. However, the office manager was very patronizing and condescending to me and said that upon the MD deciding that my daughter needed a higher level of care if I wanted a referral letter I would be charged $250.
I have proof of this email. Dr. Kim no longer could see my daughter because her care became too complex. This is fine. Had he given me a second of his day to explain this I would rate a 4. All I received was poor patient customer service with the office manager actually attempting to argue with me. I kindly, said thank you and I'm sorry that I as a parent was worried about my daughter being referred elsewhere.
I felt unheard and disrespected. The letter came in the mail a week later so I guess they realized that it would be helpful and common courtesy when deciding to stop providing care to provide an explanation. I was labeled as problematic by the office manager which is a first in my life!

We did three different consultations before deciding to go with Dr. Kim and we are beyond happy with our decision. The office is pristine. The front desk staff is welcoming. The dental assistants are thorough. And Dr. Kim is awesome! Every person I've encountered in this office has always been kind, patient and very informative. And most importantly, they collectively make this positive experience for my daughter.

2.5 years later, I'M DONE! I can't believe my smile looks this good. Up until the very, very end, my treatment was so carefully and meticulously taken care of by Dr. Kim. His detail oriented nature was just what I needed to know he would finish my smile strong. The office and its staff always had a great energy as they were genuinely welcoming at all times.
My mom is nearing the end of her Invisalign treatment at almost 60 years old, and I have a family friend who has started treatment with his traditional metal braces at 9 years old. Both love the office and Dr. Kim. I've since referred lots more people to Dr. Kim (a handful of whom have started), and they all love treatment with him! Thank you, Dr. Kim & Staff!

Loved this office! My son was in clear braces for a little over two years. He finished treatment last summer and I couldn't be happier with the results! Dr. Kim listens to your concerns and knows what he's doing. His staff are all very nice and helpful. This office is exactly how more dental/medical offices should operate. Very efficient, very professional. 5 stars for Dr. Kim and his team!

I want to start off by saying that Dr Kim's office is such a professional, highly efficient office. They've got their systems down. Not only is Dr. Kim caring but he is extremely thorough, conservative and gives excellent results. Dr Kim and his staff will treat you like you're VIP even though you're just one of the many, many clients they have.
My son won me a basket of goodies for a contest (tons of contests and prizes so your kids actually want to go to the ortho) but the thought and care that went into each item is beyond what I expected. It was filled with products I actually want to use because it's nice stuff! I am baffled with how they can give these goodies when they're not charging a premium.
His rates are on par with the industry and we get prizes too?! Let me sign you up! Lol I'm just so happy with his office, despite the fact that I would have paid less (sibling disc) to go to the same ortho my other child is going to, I'm so happy we chose Dr Kim for my lil guy- he's happy too, btw. Can't get any better. Thanks Dr. Kim and staff!

Dr Kim and his staff are the best! They are so friendly and do such great work. Dr Kim constantly communicates the progress and next steps in the process. The office staff is extremely nice and so well organized. My kids feel comfortable and always look forward to their appointments. We are very happy we chose Dr Kim as the orthodontist for our kids.

Checked out three or four orthodontists when it came time for my son to go into braces. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door at Dr. Kim's offices. It's been about 19 months since we started and with my son about to come out of braces in the next few months, my daughter is going into them. You can guess where we'll be going when that time arrives.

My daughter's smile (overbite) has improved drastically within the first 3 months of starting treatment. Dr Kim is kind, patient and knows his stuff! The staff is welcoming, and super kind to my daughter and all their patients. They are so invested in their patients that my daughter even received a post card from a Dental Assistant to follow-up on a conversation they had during Christmas. Love this place!

Dr. Brian Kim is a great orthodontist, takes great care of my son, and maintains a wonderful staff. The staff is very knowledgeable, tentative and friendly. I like that you can earn Kim's cash. It's great encouragement for kids to take care of their teeth and braces. After $50 you cash it in for items, like a shuffle, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Kim for your ortho care. The only downside is he is in the Valencia office on Thursdays only, but is in his Granada Hills office (15 mins away from Valencia) the rest of the week.
