Ina Dentistry is the practice of James W. Symonds, DDS, and provides general dentistry to Tucson, Oro Valley, and Marana. We are located just East of the Foothills Mall at 7516 N La Cholla Blvd. We provide everything from crowns and fillings to cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening. Our philosophy is to help people feel welcome and comfortable.
By far the most beneficial dental procedures are regular cleanings, exams, and prevention. Helping to educate our patients on the basics of good oral hygiene combined with regular professional dental maintenance is a recipe for a long-lasting smile. We love seeing the youngest members of the family and while we don't specialize children's dentistry, we certainly have our fair share of children as patients.
Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic or CEREC for short is a new state-of-the-art method of reconstructing tooth restorations. CEREC uses computer-assisted design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to offer single-day restorations for patients. This new technology has revolutionized ceramic restorations such as crowns and veneers for patients so that there is no longer a wait between preparing the restoration and finally receiving the finished product.With CEREC, the technology is used while you are sitting in the dental chair, which is both economical for you and your dentist.

I have been going to Ina Dentistry 2003! I'm treated so well there. They all are kind people who care about me and what's going on in my life. The hygienist was the best! I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about her! But she's gone to do something else and I miss her but I'm sure the new girl will do fine. Dr Symonds is so gentle with me. When I first went there I was a"white knuckle" dentist chair person but over the years with him I'm not like that anymore!

Went in for a routine check up indicated to him that My tooth was in pain I was very disappointed He looked at my second molar and said yes as crack filling I need a root canal didn't do nothing send me away with pain Told me he was going to refer me to someone else for this procedure I'll never go back there.

So far I've been very satisfied with the service. Appointments are easy to schedule and the wait times are short. I have had my teeth taken care of very efficiently and without having to wait. Dr Symonds has done a really good job with the fillings, and has not been trying to have me do any additional work I didn't ask for. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

Ina Dentistry is conveniently located on the NW side of Tucson. The front desk staff welcomes you with a smile and makes you feel at home. Leeza is very friendly and is quick to help with appointment changes as needed. Deitra is a great hygienist who is gentle on your mouth. She is very kind and walks you through each step. She also provides excellent conversation. Dr. Symonds is wonderful to work with.
He is thorough and never suggests something you don't need. He is a trustworthy dentist. He is great with the whole family. I especially enjoy watching him with children. He ensures that they are comfortable and makes the visit is fun. Ina Dentistry is perfect for the whole family.

Dr. Symonds and staff are phenomenal! Over the weekend, my college aged daughter was involved in an accident in which her front tooth was broken and very painful. I live in California and was so far from Tucson. With faith and recommendations from friends, we contacted Dr. Symonds. His staff had her in his office on Monday morning, and rebuilt her tooth before noon. Dr. Symonds was so kind and her tooth looks fabulous!

Dr Symonds is very kind and personable. I have actually brought my son in to see him because of his good nature and how gentle he can be. My son gets a kick out of him and his high fives. He's always happy to see my son and the other way around as well! The front desk staff is personable and I have never been left waiting more than a few minutes! If you need a place that doesn't run behind and you want a quick in and out this is the place to go!

Phenomenal staff! Had such a great expierence here and will make sure all my friends and family members come here. From the minute myself and my wife walked into Dr. Symonds office, we were so thankful to find a place we actually like and feel comfortable. Started with the wonderful phone call and spoke with a young lady who sounded very sweet and was willing to help us in anyway to make sure we could get an appointment as soon as possible, then being taken back by the very inviting assistants and then to meet the doctor along with the hygienists. We couldn't be happier where we are! Thank you Ina dentistry for all of your hardwork and we love coming to visit you all! See you in 6 months!

Dr. Symonds and his team of hygienists are excellent! Our family has been going here for multiple years, mostly for cleanings. We have never had a bad experience and Dr. Symonds will answer any question he can for you. I have personally recommended this place to multiple people, all who still visit Ina Dentistry.

We have been going to Ina Dentistry for about 7 years. My husband and I love everything about going there. Now we have an almost four year old son that is also going there and they are great with him as well. They had me bring him in to watch my cleaning when he was 3, then at 3.5 get his teeth "counted" and now at 4 he had his first cleaning and he was so comfortable being there!

I have been going to Ina Dentistry for about a year, and I have been very impressed not only with Dr. Symonds, but also with the staff. They are very welcoming and always seem genuinely concerned that I am having a good experience (no pain, discomfort, etc). It's so nice to visit a practice where it is obvious that patient health is the top concern.
I have not had any problems with my billing or my appointments, and I really appreciate the overhead TV and headphones. They also make a point of keeping me informed, by showing me x-rays and photos on the screen so I can understand what they're doing. I highly recommend Ina Dentistry.
