Born in Marion, Ohio, Dr. Dixon has stayed close to home for most of his life, ultimately establishing his practice, Columbus Family Dental Care - a place of exceptional comfort and quality, a different kind of dental practice. Dr. Dixon and his team are committed to excellence and will strive to provide you with the best possible dental care in a relaxed and caring environment.
Sam has been in the dental field since 2006, starting out as a dental assistant. As our office manager, she coordinates our daily business operations, oversees patient treatment planning, and handles all insurance and financial matters. Sam and her husband have two children and together they enjoy being active outdoors, coaching travel sports, and mostly keeping up with the kids' busy schedule. Recently returning after an absence of two years, Angie will be working part-time on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Wonderful practice! Dr. Dixon and his staff are consistently thorough, kind and professional during every appointment. For someone who currently has a full set of adult braces, they make getting my teeth examined and cleaned extremely simple and I feel so much better after the appointment is over. I look forward to each visit because I know they are knowledgeable enough to treat me with the very best care!

I truly don't want to ever be in a position to lose Dr. Dixon as my Dentist. He knows what he is doing, and he truly cares about what's going on with your day and life as whole. I enjoy going every visit, and wish he was my doctor for all other aspects of my life. He also hit it on the head hiring Samantha as the face of the practice when you walk in and leave.
The entire practice genuinely cares about you. If you're looking for a genuine dental practice, you've found it. I chose to travel to them when I moved, as I will always be loyal to kindness, professionalism and take home knowledge.

I love coming here for my teeth cleaning and am always greeted with a warm and friendly smile! The office is impeccably clean and very modern, and the staff is always so accommodating. I also love that Dr. Dixon created a "No Cavities Club" wall of fame for little kids which is fun to look at and see all the kids smiling in their photo showing off their teeth! : I've never had an unpleasant visit and highly recommend Dr. Dixon to anyone seeking dental care!

I recently had an accident and chipped my front tooth; I immediately called Dr. Dixon's office to schedule an appointment. His staff is incredibly personable and found a way to pencil me in for the following day. There, I was able to put friendly faces to those I spoke to on the phone - not to mention Dr. Dixon is also hilarious! He really put me at ease when I voiced my concerns, and took the time to explain the process before getting started.
He didn't take much time to fix my tooth, and it honestly looks better than I could have ever imagined. Additionally, the office facilities were top notch and made me feel comfortable, rather than the typical clinical setting most dentist offices have. I give my absolute highest recommendation to Columbus Family Dental Care!

Roughly six months ago, I had my first visit to Columbus Family Dental Care. I could not have been more pleased with my experience there. Dr. Dixon's office is phenomenal - welcoming and warm. The office's administrators are very pleasant and helpful. I expected a great delay considering it was my first visit and there were insurance issues to attend to first, but that process was greatly expedited after my initial phone call and I was in the dentist chair in no time. Dr. Dixon's hygienists are excellent; I enjoyed speaking with them during my cleaning and watching a little TV.
My hygienist was very gentle on my gums and very inquisitive about my dental habits. She found plaque built up in the spots where my wisdom teeth once sat, and she took the extra time and care to tediously remove it. Finally, Dr. Dixon is a master of his craft. I had a concern with something on my gums, and he told me not to worry and explained very lucidly what it was.
He has an excellent "bedside manner, " and is incredibly knowledgable. I left Columbus Family Dental Care with a new toothbrush, plenty of toothpaste and floss, and a brighter smile. I would recommend Dr. Dixon to anyone I know. His office was so willing to accommodate my busy school and work schedule, and I really appreciated that.
