The primary goal of our office is to provide quality orthodontic care to our patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment. During your first visit with Dr. Prewitt, you can expect to learn what type of orthodontic treatment, if any, will best suit your needs. Orthodontics is not only about straight teeth, it is about improving oral health and gaining self confidence.
Our team has the professional experience to realize that there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. We strive to treat your family as if they are our own.

Services
We are a busy orthodontic practice seeking a highly motivated dental/orthodontic assistant. We are seeking team players that are eager to learn and train to be an excellent orthodontic assistant and willing to put in the time and work necessary to accomplish that goal. Experience is preferred but our office is equipped to train a motivated assistant with required certifications that have little to no experience.
A native of Fayetteville, Dr. "Rob" Prewitt graduated from Terry Sanford Senior High School in 1974. He attended the University of Kentucky for the first 2 years of his undergraduate education (1974-1976). He was also a member of both the J.V. and Varsity basketball teams at Kentucky (ranked #2 NCAA 1974-1975 seasons).
At Prewitt & Prewitt Orthodontics, we approach orthodontics for children with a Two Phase Treatment Dr. Prewitt specializes in Early Childhood Treatment. The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends visiting the orthodontist no later than the age of seven. At this age, most children have both primary and adult teeth, making it possible for Dr. Prewitt to properly diagnose your child.
Every teen wants to know how long they will be in treatment. Treatment depends on many different variables that will be discussed at your new patient exam. Treatment time also depends on patient participation. If you wear your appliances or elastics as instructed, you will be out of braces before you know it!

I have contacted this office on nov 23rd as my daughters a patient of this office left message expecting a call on Monday. Tuesday I'm still waiting on a response about pain my daughters having. I kept calling daily and they were always saying they would call me back today is Dec 4th and I get a call and email from Molly because on Thursday Nov 30 I finally sent a email to them asking why I should continue business with them IF they are going to ignore my daughters needs.
I have waited and waited called numerous times offered call logs to show proof and no one cares, just excuses to be given of how they have to wait on this and that. My daughter now has a broken tooth thanks to their failure to do their part as a facility that's supposed to assist with ortho needs. Moving on with my life and my daughter

The doctor and staff are head and shoulders above any other. BUT, timeliness is something very sub-par. My son has been going for a little over 3 years now and i have never waited less than an hour for a 10 minute check. Today is a perfect example. Appointment at 4, staff was done at 4:10, we didnt leave until 5:10 because we had to wait for the doctor. So, if you have grocery shopping to do, Harris Teeter is right across the street, have a cookie stock up on groceries, and venture back across the street. The wait won't be as excruciating.
