Prosthodontics is a recognized dental specialty responsible for diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of patients with complex clinical conditions, using biocompatible substitutes (including implants) to replace missing or deficient teeth and/or craniofacial tissues. Vu Huynh, DMD, received his bachelor degree in biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego in 1999. Afterward, he attended Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. Upon graduating in 2003, he took the general practice residency position at Boston Medical Center. The overall focus of the residency was to treat immuno-compromised patients.
Claudia Poma, CDT was trained as a laboratory technician at St. Gallen in Switzerland where she received her certification in 1992. She joined our practice in 1999. She fabricates all our removable dentures, nightguards, and does repairs, relines, and whatever else comes her way. She has been a delightful addition to our office and performs an obviously vital role.
Our in-house Prosthetic Lab allows us to provide to you the highest quality care. Claudia Poma, CDT heads our laboratory with 20 years of experience. There are many advantages to an in-house lab, such as quick turn around time on repairs, high quality control, total customizing to meet your esthetics and functional needs, and to ensure that we are providing the best treatment for our patients.
68 year-old presented with upper and lower teeth that needed to be extracted, and the patient did not desire to wear removable dentures. The teeth were extracted and the patient was fitted with temporary removable appliances. After the bone was allowed to heal sixteen implants were placed. These restorations are three upper and three lower bridges permanently retained in the mouth, providing a pleasing smile with full-function.

During the coronavirus pandemic I left 5 voice messages as to when they would be reopening to schedule patients again. And never once did I get a return phone call back. Even knowing my very urgent and desperate situation they kept putting me on the back burner 3 months past. I called for the 6th time. And finally Heard Lindsey the receptionist say over the answering system that they are seeing patients again.
Who nows at this point how long they had been reopened for. All I now is at this point all I can think about is they obviously don't care about me as a patient of Dr. Vu Huynh. Even after the fact that I've left six messages during the closure they have a in-house lab and we're still seeing patients on an emergency basis. So therefore They where up and running as a Business.
Just not seeing patients unless you had pain or swelling. No excuses for not returning a patient call after six messages. This doctor obviously does not know how to operate as a professional and I strongly suggest not going to this office because they will Do you wrong! Not only did this office leave me hanging for three months but I got a letter stating the doctor was withdrawing from further services.
Talk about getting screwed this doctor should have his professional license taken from him! This doctor knew I was in desperate need he knew it was very hard for me to trust and by doing what he did taking 3 months of my time and then turning around and saying he's withdrawing from my case? I will also be making a complaint against this office this doctor needs to have his license taken from him how he operated and performed business? I deserve better than this.
