I have been a patient of Dr. Laurent for 10-15 years. He is the sole doctor with amazing hygienists and admin. My appointments are 100% on time and he genuinely cares about your teeth. The appointments are efficient and attentive. I live out near Dulles now, but still drive into Vienna. Also, I echo a previous reviewer's comment that the conversations are quite interesting. Dr. Laurent is obviously well read since he is knowledgeable on a wide variety of current topics. He is quite inquisitive too. Now I think I need to have a beer with the guy in addition to just getting my teeth cleaned!

Nice friendly staff, they make me hate going to the dentist a little less!

Dr. Laurent and his team are a fantastic group and I could not imagine going to a different dentist. The office is very clean and well-managed. The team is adept, knowledgeable, and friendly, and Dr. Laurent is arguably among the best in the business. One notable thing about Dr. Laurent that I value tremendously is his honesty and candor. He also builds rapport with the patient and the conversations are never dull. Thank you Dr. Laurent & Co. for over a decade of wonderful experience!

Great dentist and staff. The dentist is honest and fair. He and the staff are friendly and helpful. Gentle and always on time. Highly recommend.

The whole staff is extremely nice! They were very accommodating and never made me wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. They were extremely friendly during the appointment and Dr. Barry has great expertise! I liked how he explain what he was doing before he did it. I also got a retainer made there and it fits perfectly! And was affordable.

I'm a native of the DMV, so have seen my fair share of dentists. Without question, Dr. Laurent is the very best. Why is that? Simple. Because he truly cares about his patients, and customizes his care accordingly. I have been seeing him for about two years, and unlike other dentists who have up-selling tactics that may make a used car salesman blush, Dr. Laurent only gives you what you need when you need it.

This is especially important for me, as I have sensitive teeth that were aggravated by a previous dentist's unnecessary procedures. Also, I never thought that I'd say this, but I actually enjoy going to the dentist now. That's because Dr. Laurent really takes the time to get to know each patient, and always has funny and informative stories to tell.

I should salute his staff as well - the receptionist, Ellen, is always smiling and highly responsive to emails and phone calls. The hygienists always make me feel at home, even asking if I would like a magazine once I'm seated in the dentist's chair. I've already recommended this outstanding practice to my friends and coworkers, and if you give it a try, you'll definitely see why. I'm so glad that my coworker recommended him to me.

I have been going to Dr Laurent for more years than I can remember. Nothing but the best of experiences.from the staff or Dr Laurent. They have helped me out with routine exams, to fillings, to crowns, and recently a dental implant. Always great service and good outcomes. There are people who equate a trip to the dentist as a "bad" experience. With Dr Laurent and the crew that has NEVER been the case when I've made a visit.routine or as an emergency. Great folks and I wouldn't be changing, but I've moved 3 hours away and coming back for an exam has gotten to be a chore.

My husband and I have been coming to Dr. Laurent for years. He and his staff have always been friendly and they do a great job on our teeth. He offers services that only you ask for and doesn't try to up-sell services. If you don't ask about a service (ie. teeth whitening or mouth guard for teeth grinding), he doesn't bring it up. I've had dentists in the past who replace perfectly good fillings for cosmetic reasons and try to sell us work that is not needed.

As far as the billing concerns of the previous reviewer, we have had no issues with that. My husband had to have 2 crowns replace because they cracked or broke off. The staff verified with the insurance company for the coverage on the replacement crowns before proceeding. Our bill for those crowns were only the amount that insurance did not cover. Very happy with Dr. Laurent's office!

I have never need to wait for my approintment. The service is always prompt. The office assistant remembers every patient by name. The office always give me a warm and welcoming feeling. Dr. Laurent is also very responsive returning my calls or email messages regarding the concern of my teeth. Absolutely recommend this office.

If you have sensitive teeth this is the man for you. I have been going to Dr Laurent for 2 years now. I am here with my family on a military posting and needed a family dentist. He was recommended to me as I have super sensitive teeth and just hate, hate, hate the dentist. I have never had a "good" dentist experience. It has always been "Go because I really, really have to and just tolerate it".

This wonderful man and his amazing team have changed my dental life. He is very understanding and I have not once had a tense dental moment or been in any stress while under his care. I love going to see him for my checkups, the odd filling if I need it and my teeth cleaning which I now love. My 9 year old son loves a dentist visit and a dental friendly lollipop at the end.

Many of my friends see him and have nothing but great things to say. We recommend him to everyone. I recommend him to you all. What more can I say about Dr Laurent. I could go on forever but I won't all I can say is he is surely the best dentist I have ever been to and probably will ever go to. He has special tools for any of you with the sensitive teeth issue like me and a wonderful chair side manner.

Best of all the work is quality, the price is reasonable and he DOES NOT do work or recommend work that is unnecessary. Give me a go. Trust me you can only gain something with a visit to Dr Laurent.
