The experience everyone needs from a dental office! I've been getting my cleanings and whitenings here since I was little. They are super informative, they explain everything to you before they do any work in your mouth. They even whitened my teeth before my wedding last year. I'm so happy with the way I'm being treated here.

Three years ago I went for a teeth cleaning and an annual check up. Person cleaning my teeth did not know what they were doing at all and they were very nervous and kept apologizing. Then the dentist came in and did a very basic check up pretty quickly. The person who did my x-rays also did not know what they were doing and it took twice as long as at any other place I've been to.
I spent most of the time sitting in an office where someone was trying to convince me to get Invisalign. I also found it highly suspicious that they give away raffle tickets for an expensive technology prize if you submitted a review on social media. They asked me several times while I was in their office to do so and wanted me to show them the review.
I told them I did not want to participate in the raffle. I found this all pretty shocking and highly irregular especially since it was my first time there. I felt very uncomfortable and have definitely not returned. This was three years ago. Hopefully they are doing things in a better way and with better trained staff. Judging by the suspicious way a lot of their reviews sound similar and like they are written by the same person, I'm not optimistic. I wish the City would come and investigate this place. I feel like they are doing things that are unethical and feel they can get away with it in an immigrant community.

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Nunez Dental. The staff was kind, prompt, and accommodating during my visit and made me feel extremely comfortable. I was feeling uneasy about needing to have two teeth extracted, and the medical staff immediately put me at ease once the procedure began; it was a quick, painless process. They truly listen to you and desire for you to have a positive experience.

I just left the office and I am at a literal loss for words. I specifically noted on my zocdoc I have cavities and am in extreme pain. I get a phone call the morning of my appointment to confirm my insurance information where I reiterated the reason for my visit. I get to the office, they gave me a random number and said to pay that for my copay. meanwhile after contacting my insurance I have no copay so idk where this absurd number came from. i waited an hour before I got to the patient chair.
The doctor assessed me for probably 6 minutes and then told me I had three cavities and that the hygienist was coming. I'm like okay I wasn't there for a cleaning? But was due for a cleaning anyway. The hygienist finishes and they tell me I'm done? I tell them i was there because I have pain in my teeth and need my cavities filled and the receptionist tells me the doctor has no availability? What?!
Absolutely absurd. They tel me I have to come back and also discuss payment options meanwhile my insurance covers full visits especially something minuscule like a filling? No manager in house at this point because it's 9pm! Three hours there and I left with pain didn't even get treated! I should've read all the of all the reviews warning not to go here

OK, so hear me out - this is based on a first impression and I will give them a second chance during my follow-up appointment. I was referred to this practice by my wife due to some tooth/gum pain after I realized it would be too difficult to go to my normal dentist in the city without driving in and searching for parking in midtown. After a bit of research, I loved that it was only a short walk away and easy to find - I was excited to get someone to take a look at the cause for the pain.
The building was under construction, the elevator to the office was fine, and I liked that they were very clean and did their best to keep all patients socially distant by distancing the chairs and the number of patients in the waiting area. Got there on time, filled out paperwork within the first 5 minutes, then x-rays within the first 15 minutes - cool.
I sat in the patient room for almost 40 minutes after the x-rays were done, just long enough for the doctor to ask me where I had pain and poked my gums, then he told the assistant to schedule a follow-up for cleaning but no word to me. Dr. Naim Sylvester was too transactional and didn't even get a chance to see his face - I had to ask the assistant for his name.
This really left me with an underwhelming and disappointing experience. Still have some pain, but I didn't expect them to fix anything right then and there. However, I did expect the dentist to tell me what he suspected as the root cause (no pun intended, ha!). I really wanted to like this place and while it didn't live up to my expectations based on some reviews, it's certainly not the worst and is definitely an OK choice if you need to go somewhere close by in Jackson Heights. Update: Went back, was seen promptly according to my appointment time and was happy with how efficient they were during the procedures I needed.
It is a bit slow to see the dentist when they're busy, so it would be nice to be seen immediately upon arriving on time. Overall not bad, I do recommend them because the staff is overall really nice and it's affordable even after copays and whatnot.

When you just want a cleaning, and they give you a ton of x rays, that should raise a flag. They will tell anyone they have a lot of problems, even though they feel peefectly fine. I guess that'show they make money. I found another clinic and got it done with 650, instead of the 2800 Nunez quoted me. I must say I'm very angry with them, one year after my visit. Nunez told me I needed "deep cleaning". I did some research online, and learnt this is a typical scam. Very few people need such deep cleaning, which cost 800, and I have no gum disease.

My comment is more about ALERT - all the people who visit this nunez dental clinic. the prices offered here are extremely high. Visit this dental clinic nunez for the regular check and after the rx, dental cleaning, and assessment by Dr. Nunez, owner of this clinic, the diagnosis was that she had several dental cavities, needed a crown and the cost of this The treatment was of 5700 dollars, which I paid immediately with my credit card to start the treatment as soon as possible. already with cold head I thought about the value I had paid 5700 dollars and commented with colleagues and reading comments on the internet about this clinic I found three people who spoke about the cost of dental procedures.
I did check in three dental clinics and with the surprise that I did not need so many things in my teeth, I did not need any crown and the price of these clinics was between 1800 to 2800 dollars much less than in this dental clinic. Before starting a dental treatment here in dental nunez it would be good if they had a second or third opinion, it is better to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars. GOOD LUCK!

Great experience. Staff is friendly. Easy to get to with elevator or stairs. Pick up aligners with no stress. Usually staff communicate via text and phone call. Up to date with social media platforms. I hope the Nunez office goes viral for all the right reasons. Overall great to keep the grill clean and straight.

This was my first time at Nunez. I had an extraction and bone grafting in preparation for implant. The staff were pleasant and tried to keep me as comfortable as possible while I was in the office. My problem is they refused to prescribe me any pain medication despite my numerous phone calls. Being a substance Abuse counselor I am well aware of the opioid crisis. I do not think it is unreasonable to prescribe 4 or 5 days of pain meds so I can sleep, work and function.
