Disappointed. Waited 3 months, originally they told me that they accepted my insurance, but a few hours before my appointment they told me they didn't accept my insurance and appointment was cancelled. . but they did offer me to keep appointment and pay out of pocket.

I made an appointment yesterday and understood that my debit card would be charged if I did not make my appointment or did not cancel it within 48 hours. My appointment was for February 23, 2022 and today is November 17, 2021. The very next day they had debited (pending) but still showed $50.00 against our account. They should not be holding our money that long. Seems like they are more concerned about the money than their new patients.

Anything can happen in 4 months. I understand it's for their benefit and that people make appointments and do not show but if they had to book me that far out they must have plenty of patients and money without getting into my account the very next day. I understand it's a pending transaction. When I called back to cancel and discuss this with the receptionist she made all kinds of excuses and would not stop to listen to my point of view.

She just kept talking through me which got me more upset so I don't feel comfortable with Vista Dental. If they had waited to use my debit card if I missed my appointment without cancelling, it would have been okay.

I've been seeing Dr. Thomas and his outstanding staff since relocating to Sparks last year. I have had extensive deep cleaning and several crowns replaced. In all my years of seeing dentists-and I'm no youngster-Dr. Thomas is BY FAR the best. Moreover, previous crowns involved gooey molds that soaked your shirt in drool, temporary crowns, visits to fit and maybe refit the permanent crowns then praying that they work. Dr. Thomas has the technology and equipment to create and fit permanent crowns in a single visit. Moreover, one particular previous crown left a food trap large enough to pack a snack. Dr. Thomas remedied that problem too.

And I'm the world's biggest chicken. When procedures require a shot or two to mitigate the pain, I don't feel a thing, not even the injection-ever! All staff are just great-front office, hygienists, x-ray, management. They accept my insurance and many others so that is a plus. But even if they did not, this dental crew is worth every cent.

By far the best dental experience in my life. Quick & painless repair of a broken tooth that required root canal and crown. I didn't even realize that he had completed the root canal it was that pain free! Staff is friendly. Dr. Marc is an amazing dentist with very skilled hands. Again ZERO pain!

Always a great experience! Dr. Thomas and his staff are extremely passionate about what they do. I have been a patient here for about 10+ years now and never had a bad experience. They treat you like family and ensure that you are comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Thomas and his staff for al of your dental needs!

I have been to many dentists in Reno and Sparks but the best dentist so far is Vista Dental Care in Sparks. they're the only one that'll not sell you what you don't need. Vista Dental Care is a nice place to visit, the doctor and the staffs are very good and they gives the best treatment. I can say this because I have been with them for over four years and they're the best I knew so far and I'll like to recommend them to friends and family.

Impressive and up to date dental care. The staff is professional, but very friendly and make you feel comfortable. My hygienist is the very best and feel the work that she is doing is far beyond. I have had several teeth crowned and have been very pleased with the turn around time it takes for the completion. Dr Thomas is excellent and so is Bruna.

Professional is the only way to describe the doctor and the staff. He can make crowns, install implants, or do almost anything in his office. I just had an appointment and the crown was made while I waited.

Upon my most recent visit with Bruna, she informed me of some new research regarding the use of my shower pick and provided me with some helpful information on how to take care of my gums the best way possible (I have a bacteria in my gums that will always be present, but Bruna is always helping me figure out ways to keep it at bay to help avoid damage to the bone) I do appreciate the time all of the staff takes to grow and learn as dental assistants, always absorbing new knowledge and passing it onto their patients.

I always feel like they're on the cutting edge of science and technology and they're always staying updated and in the know on the absolute best way to take care of your teeth!

My first visit to Vista Dental Care provided a seamless transition from my previous dental office in another city. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Bruna did a great job of cleaning. Dr. Thomas was cordial and professional. I am very pleased to have chosen this office on the recommendation of a friend after 21 years of very satisfactory care elsewhere. I shall stay with Vista! The front desk staff is awesome also.

So I called this morning to reschedule today's appt due to inclement weather and the receptionist Mandy had the audacity to say well we are all here and there is a $50 fee. Are you kidding me? There is a fee cause of bad weather and I might not be able to make it and that little comment was rude. Not everyone lives in an area where it's plowed and maybe they all live areas that don't get much snow.

Thank god today is not the day my mother in law also passed away cause I would of been charged a fee for a death in family. I think they need to take certain things into consideration with this fee. This is the only dental office I have ever been to that charges a fee to reschedule and I been to a lot here. This might be my last visit here today.

I had my first appointment there today, and it was very pleasant. The front desk staff is extremely kind, polite, and helpful - I was greeted immediately and given all the information I needed. Good customer service is so rare these days, but these girls nailed it. My hygienist was Amber, and she was great. She was attentive and polite, but also to the point, which I like. Dr. Thomas was also nice and polite.

Everyone was also kind to my 11 month old daughter who tagged along. It means a lot that they took the time to greet her, too, and not just ignore her. All staff seemed knowledgeable and willing to help. I would absolutely recommend Vista Dental to family and friends in the area.

I started coming here about a year ago. The staff are so friendly, the office is clean and inviting, and they have the newest and best in dental technology. I had some pretty expensive bills pile up (even after my insurance paid their part) and they did not hesitate to put me on a payment plan. So accommodating! It allowed me to get the services I needed in a way that wouldn't max out credit cards and savings accounts. They are also extremely accommodating when you need to change your appointment. I feel so lucky to live 5 minutes away because I will never be changing dentists!

I walked in the office so emotional, I cried trying to tell them my problem. I didn't have an appointment but Mandy at the front desk was very understanding. Doctor Thomas talked with me and is so professional and caring. I have had so many bad experiences but believe me, Doctor Thomas is wonderful and has a great staff! My problem was solved in two and one half hours, after I suffered for one year. Doctor Thomas is now my dentist. I am a very happy patient now. Thank you so much Doctor Thomas and staff.

I had a dental emergency on the weekend. I am new to the area and left a message for Dr. Thomas. He returned my call even though I was not a patient. He was out of town but could see me Monday. I was impressed by his professionalism so decided to wait till Monday. My office visit was wonderful for a dentist! The staff and Doctor were quite nice. They took care of my problem. I found my new dentist.

I never imagined that I would write a review that going to the dentist is a pleasant experience. Everyone in the office including my dental hygienist is nice and welcoming. The cleanings are painless. I have not had to wait for my appointment unlike many doctors offices. They hold to your appointment time. I highly recommend this dental office.

Had similar experience to Lauren S 's experience. New to Reno and at first and only appt was told my life long fear of dentistry was unfounded and I should seek psychiatric consultation. Found him very argumentative, as though he enjoyed the experience. Staff was very kind and efficient although there were hints I should have tuned in to, that this dentist was a bit "difficult" and somewhat arrogant. I'm extremely calm at the dentist but thought a true professional would want to be aware of a patient's dental fears, particularly when health questionnaire asks. Did not think it would be an opportunity for him to belittle me. Yea I'm done, found a wonderful dentist nearby where I'm free to ask questions and I'm treated with respect, thats where I will spend my $, thank you!

This is a wonderful dental office. Everyone is so nice. I loved that I could fill out my paperwork online. I barely sat down when I was called in for my appointment. They listened to my needs and had several solutions giving me viable options and pricing. This is my new dental office!

As always, I am greeted by a wonderful hello and smile from Audrey, and am immediately checked-in. I appreciate her warm demeanor and genuineness in interaction. I never wait for long until my awesome dental hygienist, Bruna, whisks me away to begin my 6 month cleaning. She is the most amazing person ever, and I feel very much cared for as a person and client.

She takes her time with me, explains what she is noticing, and is so very caring in her feedback to keep up the flossing (which I'm horrible at!) The customer service is impeccable, and the work is excellent, which makes me return despite moving cross town the the Northwest. I am so thankful to have found them!

Came in with a toothache and Dr. Thomas did a great job. I needed a cap. He took care of the procedure in a few hours with no pain or inconvenience. I would go here again for my dental needs.

I've been going to Dr. Thomas for 15 years, following him from Tahoe City, CA to Sparks, NV. Presently, my husband and I are retired in Minden, NV. I will continue to drive 70 minutes to see Dr. Thomas & his staff. Audrey, his office manager, is the kindest and warm-hearted person you'll ever meet. She immediately puts you at ease. Who wants to go to the dentist! Felicia & Jamie will give you the greatest care. They're always willing to make your dental worries, or fears, top priorities. Dr. Thomas has always said "going to the dentist should never be a bad experience".

Believe me, I'm the biggest baby there is when it comes to my teeth! He'll NEVER prescribed work you don't need. His layed back personality gives me a calming & secure feeling. You'll love this dental group & won't regret coming here. Make your appointment today!
