I've been going to Chelsea Dental Arts for years. Dr Galperin is caring and has great bed side manners. I referred a few of my friends to this place, because I trust them that much. Their office is welcoming and well equipped.

Dr. Galperin and his staff are pros. They are thorough, thoughtful and professional.

I've been going to Chelsea Dental Arts for 4 to 5 years now. The place is spotless. The dentistry with Dr. Rammal has, except for the first pinch of the Novocain needle, been painless. Dr. Rammal keeps us and his office "updated"-- he lets us know that it's really an update on Novocain, but much more effective. And yes, the drilling caused me no pain whatsoever.

The assistants are very helpful and friendly. They accept most insurance, and they'll help you sort out any insurance company denials and help negotiate with the companies on your behalf. They also offer interest free payment plans. Can you imagine? It's a dentist's office and I actually look forward to going.

I'm extremely picky when it comes to doctors in general and I must say doctor Ramal and his whole staff are the nicest and most genuine people. I have horror stories of dentist trying to up sell me in Manhattan. I have been going to my family dentist my whole life but after moving to the city I was certain I wasn't going to get the care I was used to.

But Dr. Ramal proved me wrong. He is sincere, honest, and just a good doctor all around. I am thankful for getting this recommendation from my neighbor. Such a nice guy and won't disappoint :

The best dentist ever. Dr. Galperin is skilled, kind, funny, caring, patient, and painless. He always talks over all the options and explains until I actually understand. I've had every procedure imaginable - from cleanings to root canals to crowns to extractions to implants, and Dr. Galperin does everything to perfection. Everyone in the practice is friendly, kind, professional, and punctual.

Chelsea Dental Arts is fantastic. I highly recommend it if you live in Chelsea, and even if you don't, it's worth the trip. Betty at the front desk is such a nice, welcoming person and can answer any questions. Appointments start on time (even early) and are efficient. Diana was my hygienist and she did a great job, thorough but delicate.

The dentist is great, spends the time with you, shows genuine concern for your needs, and is very transparent about the best care you should go for based on your insurance, not what brings them profit. Highly recommend if you're new to NYC and in need of a dentist.

Was lucky to get an appointment here the same day I had cracked my tooth. I thought I would need a crown but was able to get a filling that fixed the issue perfectly. Very happy with this place and will definitely be going back in the future. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Great People and Excellent QUALITY work. One IMPORTANT Suggestion prior to starting any dental work: - Have them contact your Dental Insurance to get estimate of all the dental work to be done and what portion of the total cost you will be responsible for, and - Get a Printout of the response so you are clear on what your Out-of-Pocket expenses will be for the work to be done prior to starting work.

And request that if any additional dental work needs to get done along the way, the same pre-work insurance estimate/printout process is followed with your insurance company and you approve additional work prior to proceeding. Again, very friendly staff from the reception to the assistant to the doctors. Also, I saw an earlier review here about cleanliness here, and sorry to hear that she had that type of impression, but I had major work done here over several visits and found it very clean, but you can always ask the receptionist for a tour of the facilities/equipment prior to your first visit.

I've been going to Chelsea dental arts for years and recommend all my friends. I was pretty hard on my teeth in another life and have never felt insecure or embarrassed by the staff. They're great about squeezing me in when I have an emergency, great about prioritizing my needs vs what my insurance permits and actually know about me and my life. The office is incredibly nice, clean and lots of light. I would follow this dentist wherever he goes!

Tried to find a good dentist in NYC for so long. Been lucky to stumble upon Chelsea Dental and been a patient now for three years. They helped me through two root canals and I had no complications. Friendly, caring and good people. Highly recommended!

We made an appointment here for our two boys months ago and they cancelled last minute due to an emergency. When we rescheduled, we were promised that they wouldn't cancel again. We waited yet another two months only for them to cancel for the second time right before our scheduled appointment. This time they told us they weren't taking new patients. So disrespectful. They don't even care that we've been waiting for months now and that our kids have not been seen by a dentist.

Love this dental office! I work in the area and coming here is so convenient. Dr. Galperin and the dental hygienists are very thorough and friendly, as well as the receptionist which motivates me to keep returning. Never had to wait too long, which is a plus cause I use my lunch breaks to be seen. The girl that called the office "run down" needs to learn a thing or two about humility. If it's not for you, it is what it is. No need to lose your marbles over it lol.

Let me preface that I did not see this dentist.because I escaped before the appointment started. Upon walking in I was shocked. The place is dirty and run down, not the type of look I want when I'm going to have my teeth cleaned. It reminded me of a college apartment. Trying to register for the appointment was what actual sent me away. The registration is completely paper-based (it's 2018, get with the times).

The receptionist was asking questions about my coverage and said only my husband and children would be covered, not me. I called the insurance prior to the appointment, my husband provided our insurance info by phone prior to the appointment, and I have been using this insurance for years. Needless to say I was thankful to have a reason to leave because the longer I was in that dirty waiting room, I could not wait to leave. Would not recommend.

Dr. Galperin is by far the BEST dentist I have ever been to. I really can't say enough good things about him and the team. He has been so patient, understanding and sympathetic and all of my three appointments were almost 100% painless- that was incredible.

I can't say enough good things about this practice. I was recommended to them by my co workers and have been a frequent visitor for the past three years. I had quite a project mouth and Dr Galperin and his staff took on the challenge. I felt at ease during all my appointments and everything came out great. He has a team that can get any and all jobs done.

I don't know if this happens to anyone else but I am not scared to go to my appointments and I am happier when I leave because I am very satisfied with my care. You will be in good hands if you go here. I promise.

I can't believe I am giving a dentist office 5 stars. If I could, I would give them 10. And I can't stand dentists. Dr Galperin is so kind, professional, and treated me and my wife with outmost respect. He also has very gentle hands and my cleaning didn't hurt at all. Every single one of his staff members was extremely pleasant and friendly as well. Thank you for making my experience so great. Highly recommend!

Dr. Galperin is fair, polite, a great doctor and most of all incredibly honest (which is rare these days). His whole staff is polite and courteous. I actually look forward to my appointments which for a dentist, that's saying a lot! I'm VERY happy I chose him as my doctor and will definitely stick with his practice!

My first visit here was awesome. I really liked Dr. Galperin and his assistant. Very professional and kind. Unfortunately, my second experience with them was pretty bad. I went to their office at my appointed time, only to learn that the dentist was not expecting me that day. Apparently, they didn't schedule me at all. So I had to skip my lunch and lost valuable hours away from my job.

The receptionist that day was nice, and I wasn't angry at all. I understand that mistakes happen. Nonetheless, I will be looking for a new dentist; can't afford to have something like that happen again.

I just want to say huuuge thank u! After visiting Dr Galperin I'm not afraid going to dentist anymore. Clinic is nice and clean. Receptionist lady is extremely helpful and polite. It's a pleasure to see her kind and smiling face. Dr. Galperin is professional. I had cavities. So did few fillings. He was awesome. Very polite, friendly. He explain me what he's doing, what's happening now and when we will finish. Bc he had commented every his step I knew what to expect and stopped nervous.

I didn't had any pain that day. I even didn't feel a shot! He was very gentle and nice. So now I'm not afraid going to dentist any more. Will suggest him to all my friends :

Best dentist in the city. I've been to many and this place is friendly, clean, and highly competent. Dr. Galperin is always pleasant and is often the one to do my cleanings, which is nice. He's personable and remembers conversations from visits past. He and his hygienists have all been gentle in their execution, and they all seem to really care about quality of care and your experience as a patient and a person.

They explain everything they're doing and frequently check to ensure I'm feeling ok and I don't need anything. Unfortunately, I switched jobs and they don't take my current insurance - but whenever I get insurance that Chelsea Dental Arts takes, I'll be back!

I hope that people realize that this dentist had 5 great reviews and 1 bad review that were giving him a great rating, but since Yelp has asked him to pay 300/month to retain a good rating and he refused, they took down the rest of good ratings and left one good one and one shitty one. Therefore you get the equilibrium. Such as life, the things that seem FREE and GREAT at first end up in a money generating business.
