Porcelain veneers are slivers of porcelain, shaped and colored to look like a natural tooth, that are affixed to the fronts of your teeth to improve their appearance. Deceptively thin and delicate looking, most porcelain veneers are exceptionally strong and durable. Even though most veneers are only about a half a millimeter thick, the best results do require some preparation of the tooth surface before placement.
A smile makeover using porcelain crowns is nothing short of spectacular. Think of the emotional reactions on TV makeover shows when the subject sees his or her face, wearing a perfect smile, for the first time. Porcelain crowns are also called "caps", and that term offers a good mental image for the function of the crown.

I was very impressed with Dr. Currie and the staff at the office. The staff were always friendly and I never had to wait long to be seen for an appointment. I wanted to get veneers because my teeth had moved positions after having braces as a child. My two front teeth also were large in comparison to my other teeth with discoloration that wouldn't go away.
I came to Dr. Currie because of his great reputation as a cosmetic dentist. Though I currently like my regular dentist, it was important too me to go to a cosmetic dentist who had specialized training for my veneers. I was making an investment in myself and wanted to make sure my veneers were done right. I was very appreciative of the simulated before and after of what my teeth would look like that Dr. Currie gave me to help me decide on committing to the veneers.
I decided on getting four veneers. The whole process of getting the veneers went smooth from start to finish. My teeth look even better than I expected and I couldn't be happier. Still a year later I'm so happy with my veneers and I am so glad I went with Dr. Currie.

Dr. Currie has been working on my dental needs for the past 4 months and it has always been a pleasant and comfortable experience. I got my permanent molar bridge done and I am satisfied with the result. Though I've waited for a month to get it done but it was worth it because that is how Dr. Currie conducts his practice "'he always aims for perfection".

Dr. Currie is very compassionate about doing what is best for his patients. His staff listens to any of your questions or concerns and addresses them with Dr. Currie before he comes in the room. He is always attentive to your needs and explains exactly what should be done. There is a calming demeanor about him that puts any anxiety you may have at ease. I am so thankful for his expertise and appreciate all the dental work he is able to do for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Currie's for almost thirty years. He and his staff are exceptionally thorough, competent and professional, and I trust them completely. The office is clean and comfortable, and the equipment seems state of the art. They start their appointments on time, every time, so there's very little wait time. All around, a great "dental" experience and I highly recommend!

I never thought I would say I like going to the dentist.but I do! Dr. Currie does excellent work. And always makes sure you are completely comfortable and understand everything he is doing in great detail. I have had extractions, implants, crowns, a few cavities fixed etc. and I never felt any pain or had any kind of problems with any of the work he did. The whole staff are very nice caring people. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend! :

Dr. Currie and his staff are fantastic! The office staff greeted me with a smile and a "Hello! Welcome!" The waiting room was nicely appointed and had free water, coffee, and light snacks. My wait was under 5 minutes. The hygienist took me back and explained everything she planned to do, and asked if I had any questions. She asked me a few questions about my comfort level and offered a numbing agent if I had concerns about discomfort or pain while she was cleaning my teeth.
The cleaning went very well. I've had some bad experiences in the past with hygienists digging or scraping way too hard, but this was actually a very pleasant cleaning! I was relaxed and didn't feel any pain or discomfort the entire time. Even still, my teeth and gums have never been cleaner. My overall experience with this dentist has been top-notch. I highly recommend Dr. Currie and would suggest you switch to his practice ASAP.

I recently went to Dr. Currie after not seeing a dentist for nearly a year and needing a new dentist. He was very personable and kind. He answered all of my questions and gave me suggestions for future possible work. His staff was super nice and welcoming. I usually hate going to the dentist but they made me feel relaxed and at home. I would highly recommend Dr. Currie to anyone needing a good dentist! (In fact, my husband will be making an appointment soon. :-) )
