Dr. Sloan Lanctot was great. I am not a great dental patient as oral surgeries make me very nervous. Dr. Lanctot has a very calm, soothing demeanor and explains things thoroughly. He asks if you have questions and urges patients to stop him if they feel any discomfort at all, at any time. His entire team - from the front desk receptionist to Candy, the dental hygienist, were friendly, kind & patient.
The hygienist knew I was nervous so she turned on a heater for me, offered a blanket, and even gave me a squeeze stress ball to use during that procedure! The office is a nice, clean, facility with soothing music playing.

Dr. Lanctot, hygienist Candy, front desk Denise. Amazing team! Went in for root canal. First, no pain throughout the procedure, Dr. Lanctot provided very calm, relaxed atmosphere - I even dozed off a couple times! Confirmation x-ray showed treatment to bottom of root, very thorough. Great team, would highly recommend!

What an extraordinary experience! Just home from my root canal and fresh as a rose. In 50 years of very extensive dental work, I have never had an absolutely painless novocaine injection, much less an entirely painless procedure. Dr. Lanctot is truly a master of his work - bedside manner second to none, caring, patient, knowledgeable, yet still a scientist on top of his game. Who would call a visit to any dentist an elegant experience? But that's what it was - delightful. I'm happy to be healthy again.

Normally, one does not think of a root canal as a pleasant experience, but in the hands of Dr. Sloan Lanctot, it almost could be. He is an excellent dentist, taking the time to explain what he is doing, showing compassion, trying to make the experience as painless as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend him to other people, and, in fact, gave two people his name today. He and his assistant were incredibly professional and really treated me with care.

Dr. Lanctot is awesome! Highest level professional, kind and great personality. I have got the best experience of root canal therapy in his soft professional hands. NO PAIN during procedure and after. It was just a miracle- he switched OFF the pain that exhausted me for 3 weeks in a row day and night! Thank you DOCTOR!
