Called late in an afternoon with jaw pain. They had me in for an appointment within the hour. They quickly diagnosed me and were able to complete the procedure during that appointment. So grateful! Dr. Witherspoon and Kelly were informative and efficient. They were even able to save my brand new crown! The front office was pleasant and very welcoming. They were very clear about the cost of my procedure and what I can expect from my insurance. Would 100% recommend!

I had a root canal performed by Dr. Berto and Tylan (I'm probably spelling his name wrong but he was awesome). They took their time explaining exactly what was to be done and what I could expect - even going to great lengths to make sure I was adequately numb, which I appreciated due to a mild bout of dental anxiety. The procedure was painless, the post-procedure care instructions were clear, and the remainder of the staff are considerate and polite. Great experience overall, highly recommend having dental work done here.

I'm here today for my third root canal. This is a great business for dental work. My Doctors have been top notch, professional and efficient. My last two visits have been with Dr. Berto, I like how quick and efficiently he works. No excessive chit-chat. He gets the work done and gets out of mouth, I like that. The assistants are always efficient, and nice.

I have nothing but great things to say about the office staff, Dr Regan and his PAs although words do not suffice. They came to my rescue in a time of great need and delivered superlative results. Just love these folks and the level of service they provided. When they were taking care of me, I felt like they were caring for one of their family members.
Now I know why my dentist sends his own family to North Texas Endodontic Associates. I'd like to give them 10 stars but they only allow me to go up to 5. You cannot be in better hands. Simply amazing people and a true blessing to me when I was in dire need of a blessing.

This office is so well run, I wish all health care providers were like them. There is never any insurance surprises as they check benefits ahead of time and explain everything to you. The check in process is seamless and everyone in the office is so helpful and friendly. Dr. Regan is an amazing endodontist with wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel very comfortable. He explains everything thoroughly, and always with a joke and smile. I cannot recommend North Texas Endodontic Associates enough.

Over the years, I have had extensive dental work in various cities where I lived. I usually go to the dentist with a good deal of fear and trepidation. However, my experience with North Texas Endodontic Associates was by far the most pleasant dental experience I have had. This in large part was due to the pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly, Dr. John Regan was exceptional!
He was sensitive, highly skilled and has great interpersonal skills. I appreciated how he used humor to help relax me as he performed my root canal. He cared about my comfort and made the procedure as pain free as possible. I highly recommend him and would go back to him if I need that specialty in the future.

I had a root canal done on7/22/2019. I was told to pay $210.00.up front. I did. I was told to pay $80.00 f over. Four months later she said I owed 220.00. At first she didnt give me credit for $100.00. I had to paid $210.00.someway she went back and plugged it in somewhere to fit the bill. She wasnt going to give me credit. Four months later she said I owed 220.00.
How am I going from $80.00 to 220.00. They were scamming me and place money for the same service over again. I didn't agree but went ahead and paid $140.00. I paid $70.00 on 2 separate occasions.1 on 3-11 for $70.00 and 2 one 3-30 for 70.00. They only gave me credit as usual for $70 00 just like they did for the 110.00 I paid at first. They are scammers and have you paying for the same service over and over again. This company is North Texas Endodontics on Coit Road. Not a good look.

Dr. Berto is simply the best. I have been to see him twice for root canals over the last few years (one planned, one emergency after spending a weekend with a VERY painful toothache). They squeezed me in immediately and took great care of me. I left feeling better immediately. Dr. Berto is very thorough and talks you through everything he's going to do, both beforehand and also as he's going. If you can, get the happy gas! But even without it, this is seriously a painless experience. It's easier than getting a cavity filled, I swear!

I CANNOT say enough good about Dr Regan and his staff. They did a root canal retreat for me that my dentist missed a canal on. I will never have another root canal done elsewhere. Their staff is insanely caring. I have continued to have trouble with a tooth bc another dentist made a mistake. Dr Regan offered to retreat my root canal for free, and fit me in the very same day. Incredible.
They call & check on you. They take their time & are incredibly caring and patient. I can not recommend this group enough. If you suspect that you need a root canal, these are your people. Hands down.

Dr. Regan is the absolute best! He has on numerous occasions rescued me from dental agony. Unfortunately I have had too many root canals so I would say I am an expert root canal patient. When Dr. Regan performed my root canals it was pain free, quick and completed without any issues. I always hope not to ever need another root canal but if I do, Dr. Regan is who I will be calling!

Dr. Berto and Shelby were so amazing! I was extremely nervous for my root canal and they helped me get through it with no problems. Dr. Berto was extremely kind and explained everything in great detail and assured me that everything will go great. When they finished they were so awesome and kind! They will be my go-to Endodontists for sure!

I had my first root canal done here by Dr. Berto and Juanita. It was one of the most pleasant dental experiences I have had and I would recommend this practice to anyone. They were very attentive to my needs, explained what they were doing, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. They also talked through the whole procedure beforehand and then showed the post x-rays to me after and explained what everything meant. Thank you so much Dr. Berto, Juanita and staff!

I was referred to NTEA by my dentist. I was advised that they were definitely one of the BEST in Dallas. Unfortunately I did not get to experience their expertise. While speaking with Christine (verified my insurance) there was a problem with communication. She advised me that my portion of the bill would be a certain amount and also advised me that there might be additional charges if needed after the initial consultation.
All of this was fine. She was very pleasant until I began asking about the charges. I asked about the amount of the bill and she explained private pay versus insurance payments. Then I questioned the amount as it was much more than my 20% portion with insurance. She then advised me that her office collects 50% up front and then if there is a refund due that it will be issued after the claim is paid (within 30 days).
I was quite surprised and confused, not because of the policy, but how it was presented to me. Christine asked me to explain why I was surprised or not pleased with her. I began explaining to her my concern with our conversation. I was unable to complete a sentence as she began talking over me and would not allow a word from me. I attempted 6 times to stop her so that I could explain, however she refused and escalated the situation.
When she finished I advised her how unhappy I was with HER and her asking me a question and then refusing to allow me to answer. I advised her that I did NOT have a problem with the 50% payment up front. My concern is that she presented that amount to me as if it were my 20% co-pay. I was wondering why my insurance was only paying a small amount. I stated that she should be upfront with the policy as it is completely reasonable.
I completely understand the difficulties in working with insurance companies and not always being paid correctly or in a timely fashion. The doctors provide a much needed service and deserve to be paid accordingly. I shared this with her. I was in need of a root canal immediately, so I would have paid completely out of pocket if necessary. Christine was quite good at her form of disrespect as she NEVER raised her voice, so that others in the office believed that she was simply explaining the policy to me.
This was so far from the truth. They could not hear that she cut me off, talked over me and ignored my request to explain. I was NOT angry until this point. I asked to speak with the office manager, Debbie. When I spoke with her she advised me that Christine was awesome and that she was sorry that I had the problem. She continued to defend Christine's behavior and to apologize without apologizing in a condescending manner.
It was very clear that Debbie did NOT believe me. Debbie's non-apology further fueled my decision NOT to do business with this office. It was very clear that Debbie did NOT believe me. I can appreciate a manager defending her employees, because the customer is NOT ALWAYS right, but as the potential customer, I also don't expect to be spoken down to instead of being heard.
I believe the policy is very REASONABLE and unfortunately many doctor's have to do this or simply not accept insurance. What is NOT reasonable is to misrepresent/manipulate the financials. I am sad that I did not get to experience Dr. Berto's services as I have heard the entire line of doctors are FABULOUS. However, I do believe that your front office staff represents your entire office and they can make or break your business.

I was referred to NT Endo by my Dentist. I had a root canal performed. It was painless and Dr Regan, was efficient and confident in performing his service. Juanita did a fantastic job of assisting Dr. Regan. Even though root canals aren't exactly fun, NT Endo is the place to go for painless and attentive dental care. Actually thought the prices weren't out of line for this type of work. So if you need Endodontic care this is the place to go!

A sincere thank you to Dr. Regan and Candace Kramer RN for such a great experience taking care of a not-so-great tooth issue. Dr. Regan got me in as soon as he could, knowing the amount of pain I was in. He went over the procedure. Candace and staff were courteous, kind, attentive, and gentle professionals, just like Dr. Regan. He fixed the problem, showed me what he did, called in a prescription, and I was on my way in much relief.
At my follow-up visit, the ladies at the front desk greeted me by name when I walked in, and asked how my tooth was feeling after the certain procedure. They're prepared, they're friendly, and they remembered my name. It sounds silly, but should an issue arise, I'll look forward to seeing Dr. Regan, Dr. Small and his staff. You're in good hands w/ this dream team. Thank you, Doctors!

My wife, Carol Barnett, asked me to post this review for her: "I had my root canal here today - great experience. Painless, efficient and a great staff. Dr. Tam did my root canal and I thought it was a really easy experience. To anyone having a root canal - go to North Texas Endodontic rather than allowing your dentist to do this. I have had root canals done by dentists and it can't compare to the work done today. It was painless and the whole experience was terrific."

Well I had to get a root canal this morning, and my DDS provided a referral to Dr Regan at North Texas Endodonic Assoc. Let me tell you that Dr John and Candace are a real team - outside of having high blood pressure from being nervous - this place rocks. A professional team with great chair side banter will make an unpleasant experience very enjoyable. Kudos to the spirit de corps! And thank you for a great root canal! Absolutely no pain and I feel great.

I was very nervous about getting two root canals after a horrifying experience with another dentist. Dr. Small and his assistant, Kari, made me comfortable and did the procedure quickly. I had minimal pain and very little soreness later. Everyone was very nice, friendly and caring. I highly recommend North Texas Endodontic Associates for the BEST dental care.

Dr. Small was very nice and took great care of me. I had to come here for an unexpected procedure :. This office is really huge and I loved the western decor. Dr. Small and his assistant were very nice. They made sure I was comfortable and even offered me a blanket if I was cold. They made sure my procedure was smooth and I was numbed up enough. All the staff here are friendly and they check up on you the next day to make sure you're doing well!

My dentist recommended Dr. Joel Small when I felt discomfort when chewing on one side. Root Canal? Yikes! However, it is really no big deal. Dr. Small is so calm, professional and kind. I made sure I was "numbed up" enough and he patiently complied with 2 or 3 extra injections of numbing meds. It didn't hurt during or after the procedure, and the best part is that by the next day, I could chew with absolutely no pain. Fixed!
The office folks are nice too. Only complaint is that their office is hard to find- they need to mark their outside door better. I drove around that parking lot several times and had to call them but finally ended up just guessing where to walk in.
