For anyone who has ever had a bad experience with a dentist. I truly wish you could meet Dr. Hillstrom and the incredible team at North Texas Dental Associates. Not only does the guy take "laughing gas" to a whole new level with his humor, the care he extends to his patients is comforting. Appreciate you, Dr. Hillstrom and your incredible team!

The excellent team at North Texas dental just got me through alot of dental issues due to my teeth grinding. The team makes sure that you are comfortable and not in pain. They are also extremely friendly. This is an easy recommendation.

Fantastic experience as always! Dr. Ross, Suzette and the team of highly trained hygienists are always thorough and take the time to not only perform a great cleaning but a complete oral exam. I routinely am advised of advances in oral care and feel that I am entrusting my health to true professionals. Something I appreciate as healthy teeth & gums can help ensure a healthy body. The office staff is always bright, attentive and courteous and I've never experienced or had to endure a long waiting room experience prior to my appointment.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Ross and his hygienist. Good experience. Clean office. Nice office staff. Reasonable pricing. They did not act like my teeth were extremely horrible and suggest numerous things. No complaints. There were snacks. I loved the first time gift as a new patient. It was adorable. I'm so happy I found this Dr. Ross after a previous bad experiences with another dentist in a different city.

After 45 years of going to the same dentist he decided to finally retire this past year. I received a postcard advertising North Texas Dental Associates and I decided to schedule a meeting to see the practice. Upon arriving I was greeted by the sweetest office coordinator who gave us a tour of the office. The office was immaculate with all state of the art equipment.

I scheduled an appointment for my cleaning and initial visit which was done today. I loved how thorough the hygienist was and Dr. Ross, one of the dentists, was incredibly nice and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this practice! If there was another star to give it I would!

I've been coming here since I moved to the area and I love both dentists, the hygienists and most of the office staff. After my cleaning, I went to pay my bill and discuss the next thing I needed to have done. Dr. Hillstrom did not pressure me to come back he said it was up to me. When I went to pay the biller, Tracy was extremely pushy and wanted to make my appointment as soon as possible.

My next dental appointment is expensive, even after insurance and I cannot afford to pay anything right now. And of course the bill was a different amount than what was quoted last time and she made me sign the treatment plan. Money is VERY tight so I told her I can't afford to make an appointment. She said well all we ask for is 50%. Um I can't afford that either.

I gave her a month that I MIGHT be able to afford it, days of the week I'm off work and she assumed the day SHE chose for me was good. She hands me the card and asks for the 50%. I can't afford it like I told her a few times. She said well I will call you tomorrow for the card number. Um no. I will cancel for now and just make the appointment for when I can afford it.

If it wasn't for the dentists and the rest of the staff I would change offices. I left the office thinking does she work on commission, does she get a bonus. I'm disappointed. Not sure if the office reads the reviews but I can't be the only one living paycheck to paycheck.

Watch out for the billing with this group! First they lie about how the charging for billing is done. The "treatment coordinator" scribbles on paper to try and do the costs for insurance. She said oh our system only does one insurance which is BS. I told the dentist what she said and he said no our system can do more than one. So what's the issue here. incompetentence!

I have 3 dental insurances and they only billed one. I contacted them on multiple occasions to get them to bill the other two. They did still did not do so to date. Now they have sent my "due amount" to collections! What a joke!

The staff, hygienist were very friendly and helpful. They explained things clearly and answered my questions. The hygienist cleaned my teeth very well without pain. Dr Hailstrom does not pressure one into having any procedure done. He suggested that I try things that would help my sensitivity before trying to explore more drastic, expensive measures. I highly recommend this dentist!

My kids and I went in for cleanings today. The hygienists were fantastic and the environment is very welcoming and cozy - yes a cozy dentist office! The front staff was so helpful with questions we had - Da'Vonte and Tracy went above and beyond to help us set something up for Wisdom Teeth removal for my teenage son. Really, I couldn't have been more grateful for their help. We felt very cared for!

The entire staff is amazing! They are so friendly, professional, and the nicest people. I've never had to wait for my appointment. I'm happy to have found a place that doesn't make me hate going to the dentist. I definitely recommend!

Dr Ross and Joyce did a great job! They are the best! Everyone at the office is professional, understanding and patience! I like going there. Dan cleaned my teeth today. He did a great job and was very Patient with me!

I fell in love in 2015. It was the day before thanksgiving and my tooth was hurting terribly. They were open, professional, prompt and exactly what the Dr ordered. When iell you that nothing has changed but the address since then? You gotta check them out. The staff is A1 and guess why? Cause the providers are too. I love it there!

My first visit was awesome! I had my teeth cleaned -he was very meticulous during the process-. Great people, everyone there was respectful. I found out that I needed two fillings and a Crown KUDOS to all!

So happy my husband found this dentist. Everyone in the office is amazing! They make you feel so welcome and are super friendly! They walk you through the procedure as they are working and most importantly NO PAIN! This place is definitely worth my 1 1/2 drive!

There's not much more to say, other than always choose a place according to reviews. That's what I did! From the front desk receptionists, hygienists (Mandy!) and doctors. The ENTIRE STAFF is welcoming and gracious. As for dental work, I completed about 1/3 of the work today and to say that I am satisfied is an understatement. Dr. Ross walked me through my procedure step by step and made sure to make me feel as comfortable as I could.

I walked into NDA with a huge phobia of dental offices, glad to say that phobia is diminishing and I'm looking forward to have the rest of my dental work completed! Thank you North Dental Associates!

I went for my first visit yesterday and loved it. I'd previously seen a couple of the chain dentists and just didn't feel like I got a personal experience. This place is the complete opposite. Mandy cleaned my teeth and carried on a nice conversation with me and I could tell she loved her job. Dr Ross was very nice and personable. I was very impressed and genuinely felt like they cared about me as a person and not just a number. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic. Front desk staff is great, dental hygienists were very kind and great at their job. Dr Ross was very helpful at explaining what was happening and checking on me during a few things (asking "still no pain, right?" etc.) and fixed my issues completely. We took our 3 year old here as well and everyone was so good to her - she left super happy and had a great experience! Would recommend to anyone. Top notch place.

Dont do it. i have had several issues and given them several chances. the front staff is terrible and change appt times with out letting the patient know. they never call you back or answer questions about finances and payments. i left a review and spoke with the dr and took down my review to give them another chance, however after several chances and another screw up the day before my appt with texting me and telling me they moved my appt time with out telling me, im done. congrats you just lost a patient.

This place is full of Crooks! I thought I found a good dentistry to go to but I was wrong. I got an estimate for how much my procedure is going to cost me and how much my insurance is going to pay. So I agree to the price and went through with the procedure. 3 months later they told me that my insurance didn't cover the rest of the payment so I have to pay the rest out of pocket.

What the FUCK!' Why would you waited 3 months to tell me when you supposed to know up front on what the insurance cover or not before I did the procedure? This is not how you do business!

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Pretty much a painless experience every time. The hygienists are skilled and friendly and the scene is calming so no nerves.

Jody up front and the rest of the gang here are very very nice! Overall a pain free trip, the staff was all kinds of helpful, and i was in and out real quick!

I have been visiting North Texas Dental Associates for about one year now, and each visit has been better than the last. Dr. Hillstrom and his staff are incredibly accommodating and attentive, and I feel they genuinely care about their patients' well being. One of the dental assistants, Marie, was also fantastic today! She and Dr. Hillstrom went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable after my procedure and to provide me with helpful information to save costs. I would highly recommend North Texas Dental Associates to anyone!

I have 11 family members to go to NTDA and we are all so happy with them. I refer my friends to them as well. I've had some very good dentists and they are my favorite. I especially recommend NTDA to anyone with dental anxiety. They accommodated all of my needs and made me very comfortable! If you go to NTDA you will never go to another dentist again.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with them. Every single staff member I have interacted with is so genuine and sweet. When you meet Jody at the front desk you'll see what I mean!

They saved my teeth when other dentists were ready to pull them all. So grateful to both doctor Nguyen's! You always win with Nguyen!

This review has been almost a year in the making. Dr. Hillstom's dentistry is overshadowed by his incompetent billing/business office that has an extremely high turnover rate. The billing department totally messed up on both Hubby and I's bills and mine was just a routine cleaning. The first office manager went through an elaborate bill ceremony before treatment in which we had to sign an official document showing our responsibility.

We paid more than our responsibility and was still sent a $150.00+ bill. Several phone calls asking for clarification as to why we still owed more fees, with no call back from the billing office, we get a letter from a collection company. I was finally able to talk to someone competent after leaving a message for Dr. Hillstrom personally. The office wrote off the amount, but Hubby is still left with a half completed implant.

We will look for another dentist to complete the work since we do not want to go through another nightmare billing fiasco with NTDA. Tip to Dr. Hillstom: hire a competent billing department and make sure patient's calls are returned. That speaks more for your business than the necklace, t-shirt, and water bottle gifts.

It's taken me time to leave a review because I had mixed feelings about this office. Sorry for the long review. The staff is very friendly, and they are all very accommodating- but my issue was with Dr. Patel. My first initial appointment (cleaning) was fine and I had concerns. I had to come back for two fillings. Dr. Patel originally told me he would do the fillings on two different days so that both sides of my mouth weren't numb.

That was fine with me. So when I came to get my first filling done, afterwards Dr Patel asked if I would be okay with him going ahead and doing the other side without any numbing. I was very hesitant as I already hate any dental procedures period. But he assured me it was very small and that if at any time I felt pain, I could raise my hand and he would stop.

So I agreed. Well he gets started and it's immediately uncomfortable and I tried to bare through it but I finally had to raise my hand and say it was too much. He asked if I could please hang in there "because he was too far in and it wouldn't be long"- he basically said he wasn't going to stop. What choice did I have? I already raised my hand like he said to do and he did not stop like he promised me.

I was very anxious and in pain. I left that day knowing I would not be back to see Dr Patel, and I moved to Houston shortly after. Guess what? My new dentist has NO problems numbing both sides of the mouth in the same day. This office needs to re-educate on patient's satisfaction.

NTDA deserves more than 5 stars. I just left my first appointment with them and I'm confused. should have I enjoyed the dentist that much? Every single thing about their practice has a personal touch to it. When you fill out new paperwork, one of the pages lists perks they provide to make your experience more comfortable. It included things like memory foam neck pillow, moisturizing lip balm, headphones, blanket, glasses, cold bottled water, hot towel after treatment, and more.

Hi wait am I at the spa? You can select which ones you want and the staff makes sure they follow through on that. I saw Dr. Patel, who was great. He was extremely personable, conversational, and welcoming. Beth was my hygienist and gave me the most gentle teeth cleaning of my life. On top of all that, it was the most beautiful, clean, bright & airy office. New patients: they give you a little welcome gift. Mine had a handwritten note and a really cute necklace, among other little gifts. I can't recommend them enough.

I have been going to Dr. Hillstrom for years. He is an extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional Dentist. I've been self conscious about my teeth for years (cosmetically) and was curious about veneers. He explained the process in detail and set up realistic expectations. I am beyond happy with the results and feel so confident with my new smile! I highly recommend Dr. Hillstrom for any of your dental needs.

I really thought I finally found a home for my dental care as well as my sons. Unfortunately, due to their business practices, without so much as a phone call, i will not be returning, nor recommending. Luckily, there's plenty of other places to choose from.

If I could give NTDA 10 stars, I would. Not only is the team wonderful and nice, they also make your cleaning feel like a trip to the spa. Upon arrival, I was given a sheet to select the amenities I would like during my cleaning (see pic). I watched a movie with a comfy neck rest and blanket during the appointment. At the end of my hour, they gave me a gift bag (see pic) with goodies including a necklace, water bottle and dental care kit. THEN.on Monday, I received a box fro Tiffs Treats filled with warm cookies with a note that thanked me for making them my dental provider (see pic). I truly have never been treated better. They are amazing and a group I confidently recommend

Went to my first appointment here, was extremely impressed with the new building, the staff and my experience. Also they gave me a new gift as a new customer, a very nice box with a water bottle and T-shirt. I highly recommend anyone switching their dentist service to NTDA.

I was referred to North Texas Dental Associates by a co-worker, and this has truly been the best referral in Dentist in my entire life! The office staff is awesome! The make you feel like they really care. I Don't dread my next visit, I actually look forward to it. Dr. Yue is the best! I had a tooth extracted. Omg, painless! He even called me to check to see how I was. Very caring and concerned, and personable. I am a patient for life!

What an awesome office! Dr. Lo and the staff are the best dentists in Dallas that I have been to. He explains everything, treats you like a person, and treats you like a friend. Though going to the dentist is no ones idea of a good time, Dr. Lo makes the experience painless and worthwhile. The staff is just as good and friendly too! I've been seeing Dr. Hillstrom (Jimmy) since he started working in plano.jeeez I'm old.but he has grown this to be more than amazing. both docs and the full team will impress you from the moment you walk in the door. If you have any fears of dentistry you I can assure you they will adjust the visit to make sure you can be comfortable. They spend as much time as needed to ensure you feel 100% comfortable with the assessments and build a plan that works WITH you not just for you. I can never say enough about these guys.and Jimmy laugh will keep you smiling all day :)

What a great experience! Had to have a tooth extraction (oh what fun) and the staff made it all bearable. As soon as I got in the chair, the whole process was explained to me so I knew what to expect. Dr. Hillstrom was the best. Took his time on the shots to numb everything up. Never felt pain at all during the whole procedure. The extraction was a tough one but he managed to do it with very little discomfort.

He has a great dental chair manner, always making sure you are comfortable. My appointment was on time and the processing of payment very smooth. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Thanks Matt
