It's really sad to have to rate Align Orthodontics so low, as my experience with them started out exceptional. I found Dr. Nguyen through Instagram, and was excited to hire her because I resonated with her treatment style. My case is complicated and upon doing more research, I found another orthodontist who specializes in adult maxilla expansion, which, after discussing my treatment options with Dr. Nguyen, she said was probably necessary in my case.

The other ortho's treatment would mean I could possibly avoid jaw surgery (Dr. Nguyen referred me to a surgeon for possible surgery). So I decided to switch orthodontists. Now, the office was quick and easy with switching doctors. They calculated my completed treatment time and refunded me fairly for the unused difference. So, what's my problem? Dr. Nguyen and her team loudly and proudly exclaimed that they use more Invisalign "buttons" than any other provider, ever.

The doctor said she's "button" happy, and with good reason. And like I said, my case is complicated and I had already had experience with Invisalign, therefore I knew her statement to be true. I asked them who would take off the "buttons" when I switched providers, and they told me my new provider should be able to do it. Well, I went to my new doctor and, SURPRISE, they had NEVER seen so many buttons in their life.

They had no idea how to find them all (I sometimes had 2 or 3 on one tooth). So I called Dr. Nguyen's office and asked if they could help take off the remaining buttons.and HERE is when the problem began. First, they were SO RUDE to me after I was no longer a patient. The office staff told me that I am no longer a patient and therefore, they can't help me.

I told them my new provider was having trouble taking all of them off. Which they then insinuated that my new provider was inept and I should be skeptical. I said, "Okay, well then is there a way I can have Dr. Nguyen take them off anyway?" The office staff told me I could, but I would have to pay an insane hourly rate for the doctor (or staff) to do it.

It was such an unreasonable solution presented for a really reasonable request. (By the way, I contacted them about a week after switching offices. I didn't wait months to contact them about this.it was days.) So I still have about 5-10 buttons left on my teeth. All because they use wayyyy too many buttons, and then scoff at other dentists who don't know how to approach that, and leave their previous patients. ME.hanging.

Just finished up my orthodontist journey with Dr. Nguyen and team, and I couldn't be happier! I'd give more stars if I could. Everyone I've met in the clinic has been phenomenal. Super friendly, clean, communicative, and professional. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to get braces or Invisalign. Thank you Align team!

Dr. Nguyen and her team are amazing! So kind, professional and helpful. I started the process of correcting my underbite which involved getting braces again as an adult. It always was a breath of fresh air to visit her office, very sweet team and they were always so responsive if I had any questions. Thank you!

Both our daughters are currently getting treatment (braces). Place is clean, staff is helpful, and friendly! We came here because our previous orthodontist seemed more driven by money than by quality of treatment. This place seems way more honest and we're very close to having the braces removed and the end product is looking great!

Dr Mirna Nguyen and her assistant (I think her name was Jessica, she's blonde sorry!) were EXTREMELY HELPFUL when walking me through my retreatment process. I have had braces before and I wish I had originally got my braces treatment done with Dr Mirna Nguyen and potentially Dr Henry at the time. They gave me a huge wealth of information during our consultations and had tools that no other orthodontists or dentists have.

They ran a simulation for me to show me what my retreatment journey would look like and they were so knowledgeable about the process that it helped make my decision so much easier. If you're looking to get your teeth fixed or straightened, Dr. Mirna Nguyen is definitely the way to go! She and her staff handled me with so much care and made me feel really welcomed, I knew I could trust them with my teeth.

I'm extremely disappointed with the experiences I've had there and while I've never written a review because everyone there is so friendly, today was the last straw. My daughter got a permanent retainer and one side of it came unbonded after only a week of having it on. It was stabbing her in the mouth, so she pulled it off. We went in and they charged us $280 for a new one because she pulled the other half off.

They said if she had just left it on, they would have repaired it for free. I explained that it was poking her in the mouth and they said she could've just pushed it up against her teeth and made due until coming in. I've never been so appalled, because if it had been put on correctly in the first place, we would not have even had this issue to begin with. Needless to say, we will never be going back there and looking for a new orthodontist for our son.

Follow up: I received a call informing me this was a mistake and I would be refunded my money. A few days later I received another call from the person who made the mistake sincerely apologizing for the error. As I stated at the beginning, this review was really hard to write because the staff there is just amazing and so kind. It was really nice to see they made things right.

All 3 of our children are clients and we love this office. Yes, they are friendly. Yes, the billing is easily explained. Yes, you can "walk-in" when a bracket wiggled off (maybe call ahead out of courtesy). I really love this office and so glad that all 3 of my kids did their Phase 1 so far here.

Dr. Marina Nguyen and her staff are great, professional, and courteous. Dr. Marina is attentive and her attention to detail makes sure you have a good symmetry. I trust that she won't do any unnecessary treatment, and wants to do what is best for the individual. I am happy with my results, I highly recommend Align Orthodontics.

Dr. Nguyen is amazing. I came in with a terrible underbite and in a period of a year and half I have the best smile! She's very detailed oriented and will do everything possible to fix your teeth so they function properly and look good. You call tell she's very passionate about work and cares a lot about her patients.

My child has been a patient at Align Orthodontics for over a year now and we are very pleased with treatment that Dr. Nguyen and her team have been providing. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces and who cannot love the giant whale painting? The team always makes my daughter feel so welcomed and comfortable during her visit that she feels she can honestly voice any concerns she may have.

I feel very comfortable sending my child here for treatment especially during Covid. It's very comforting to know the staff takes the health and safety of their patients very seriously.

I can't say enough about Align Orthodontics! What a wonderful office! I have 2 kids in braces and a 3rd getting them soon. They are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and very accommodating! We Had an emergency situation with one of my kids and they saved the day! They go above and beyond and I highly recommend them!

Dr. Mirna Nguyen, DMD and her team are the absolute sweetest group of people you will ever meet as soon as you step inside the relaxed vibe of the office is noticeable. Over the course of 2+ years they have helped me achieve the confident smile I have always wanted and gave me confidence in myself throughout the journey. I appreciate all that they have done and recommend them 100%.

I absolutely adore the staff and Dr Nguyen! Not only is their clinic extremely clean and runs very efficiently, this is also just the most wonderful team of healthcare workers I've come across. Dr Nguyen is so skilled and is also very empathetic and kind - she takes the time to understand the needs of each individual patient so as to deliver the best experience possible to them.

She has been so accommodating to me since I moved away from California - so much so that I refuse to find a new orthodontist! It's worth it for me to travel back to San Diego for appointments because of the quality of care I get from this team. And of course as a woman in stem, I look up to people like Dr Nguyen who are smart and accomplished while also being stylish and amicable. 10/10 would return for any other orthodontic needs of mine!

We had a great experience with my son and plan to come back when my daughter needs braces. They even have a shuttle that picks the kids up at the middle school and brings them back to class.

Braces by Henry has been a supportive, informative, and professional experience for us. My oldest daughter has recently completed her retainer and then braces work here. They talked my daughter and myself through treatment, and were always available to answer any questions and support us. This includes all of the doctors as well as the support staff. I have another child that recently began braces, and my youngest will also be seen here.

Consulted Dr. Mirna Nguyen for my son's teeth. She is very kind by nature, transparent and honest in her diagnosis. At no point, I thought she recommeded any aggressive treatment. We are happy with the whole experience. I would recommend "Braces by Henry" to anyone!

I just wanted to thank Dr. Nguyen for my kids gorgeous smiles. My son completed his Invisalign treatment here and my daughter was in braces, also recently finished. I couldn't say enough good stuff about Dr. Nguyen; she is a kind human being who genuinely cares about each and every one of her patients and staff members. She treats everyone with respect, very friendly, and always happy and available. The best orthodontist around! Actually, everyone working here seems to be happy to be working here and that says a lot. Recommend without reservation.

Dr. Nguyen is by far the best orthodontist I've met. And I shopped around quite a bit before getting treatment with her due to a negative previous experience. I agree with the reviewer who said that she's smart; and she's also kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and by far the most compassionate and understanding doctor I've met. As I previously mentioned, I started my Invisalign treatment elsewhere, and it ended with a rather poor outcome.

I came to this place because I knew they did a lot of Invisalign, and it was recommended by a friend. And I am really glad I did. Dr. Nguyen fixed it beyond my expectation. Believe me when I say that she is a perfectionist. I highly recommend her and her staff, they know what they're doing and they do it efficiently.

I just got done with my final visit with Dr. Henry. It's been long journey to get my teeth straighten from were it was. Braces By Henry should be called " Miracle By Henry"! He has done what seemed impossible! I just visited my mom for Christmas. She could not believe the transformation!. I am also extremely happy with service provided during almost 2 years of visits.

Everyone from the front desk to all the assistants, they made what should have been horrible experience to pleasant visits. I have NEVER had a bad service during the whole time i was there. I would recommend " Miracle By Henry" to anyone:

Broke my retainer a few weeks ago and was in panic. When you spend your own hard earned money on your own braces at 46 you sure in the heck dont want your teeth to move. Called few places, wasn't impressed, and didn't feel good vibes. Dr. Henry's place was the one for me, knew it when I called and talked to the Receptionist. She assured me Dr. Henry could replace my retainer as well check my other one that was on the bottom. Very pleased with the girls and will refer.

I was referred to Braces by Henry by my dentist and I couldn't be happier with their services. My son and I both go there and we are always welcomed with smiley faces; the staff is very friendly. Dr. Henry and his wife Cheryl are extremely professional and friendly too. We totally recommend Braces by Henry. Location is great and there's plenty of parking.

Dr. Henry and his staff are absolutely very, very best. When I was a teenager I had my teeth fixed by Dr. Henry, he took on the challenge that most orthodontist did not want to do and could not do it that time. Dr. Henry fixed my teeth and still to this day, I get compliments on how beautiful and amazing my teeth look and it has been over 20 years.

When I realized that my daughter was going to need braces the first thing I did was check to see if Dr. Henry was still practicing and I was absolutely ecstatic to find out that he was still practicing in the same office as when I saw him over 20 years before! 2 1/2 years later my daughter has gotten her braces off and, of course, her teeth look better than I ever imagined they could!

Every single office visit that she had was a great experience by him and his staff. I am so fortunate that Dr. Henry was still practicing wihen my daughter needed braces and I would recommend him and his staff over ANY other orthodontist now and forever! Thank you so much Dr. Henry for not only fixing my teeth over 20 years ago, but doing such an amazing job fixing my daughter's teeth. She will have a lifetime of healthy teeth and an absolutely perfect smile!

I took my daughter here for braces. From before she got braces to after getting it off we had the best experience. Everyone there is so caring and the work they do is spectacular. I would recommend everyone who needs ortho work done to Dr. Henry.

I am so happy I decided to go with Dr. Henry for my second time around with braces. My dentist recommended him and from the first day Dr. Henry and his staff treated me so well. They are extremely organized and always addressed my concerns throughout the process. Another plus was how quickthe wait time was every appointment. I am thankful to Dr Henry & team for the beautiful smile they brought on my face after the orthodontic treatment at his office. It was quite a long journey of 6 years and Dr Henry & his staff did an excellent job, working through the complexities of my case patiently and diligently to show me light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Henry is very talented and has a great attitude towards his patients, there was another Dr. outside of CA who actually mentioned I would need a surgery however Dr. Henry proved otherwise and walked me through a less invasive path. Both my kids and I have been in Dr. Henry's care over the last 10 years. (My husband is next!) He is extremely knowledgeable about orthodontia, and he answers all of your questions. This practice is really careful to ensure that you're getting the best care- even if it means extending treatment. In my case, we did several months of study before even beginning treatment so that we could have the best course of action for my specific problem.

I wouldn't ever trust any practice to give the level of care that I've received. The staff is extremely friendly and caring as well. They do their best to accommodate schedules.

Dr. Henry and his staff are warm, professional and genuinely caring. I started Invisalign treatment with an expectation of completion within 8 to 10 months. Unfortunately I experienced dental complications that had nothing to do with my Orthodontic treatment. Dr. Henry and his team tolerated all the changes and rolled with it. Dr. Henry is a perfectionist and proved with my treatment he will utilize all the tools of his trade to deliver the best smile possible!

I never experienced a problem getting an appointment and was seen promptly at the scheduled time. The business side of the office made me aware of the cost and never suggested I pay more although the scope of work probably changed because of my dental issues mentioned above. I always felt a very warm, friendly vibe from ALL the staff. I will miss them all as they felt more like friends than my orthodontic team.

Wow! this place is fantastic! Husband and wife run this office. The decor is cute and fun and relaxing. Customer service is beyond friendly, happy and comforting. I never felt pressured. Highly recommend this company.
