I've been going to Hughes Dental Group since I was a kid and they are seriously the best! They are so kind, gentle, and helpful! Special shout-out to Dr. Marks and Rose who did my fillings - I was super nervous and they were both extremely patient and nice.

I recently had to have some work carried out and found Jonathan explained everything in great detail. He was kind, understanding, patient and sympathetic to my needs. The work done was of high quality and I would happily recommend him.

Needed repairs doing on behalf of a elderly relative. Hughes Dental Lab were incredibly helpful and I dropped the dentures directly at the office which fortunately they were able to repair on the same day. Also I thought they were really good value for what is an expert service. Many thanks.

I have known Jonathan Hughes and worked with him for over twenty years. He is an excellent clinical dental technician and always works in the best interests of his patients. Our dental practice has four dental surgeons who are all very satisfied customers of his laboratory, Hughes Dental, which has provided consistently high quality service. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone as an approachable, friendly, professional man who has the experience and skill to provide the most up to date clinical denture and dental laboratory service.

My experience as a general dental practitioner and a implant dentist has been superb. Hughes has managed to meet my patients needs from odd requests like making grillz to special gemstone features to implant crowns. This has allowed me as a clinican to meet every single one of my patients' needs. Highly recommend!

All facts on this review are true, accurate and can be verified. I met Jonathan Hughes at my local dental practice with regards to some new dentures that I needed making due to my original dentures being so poorly made by my dentist at the time. Rather than trying to help me, Jonathan came across as condescending and not very helpful at all. He thought my original dentures were absolutely fantastic and well made.

He offered to make me a new pair similar to the original ones that were giving me so many issues and were poorly made! Clearly as a Clinical Dental Technician and owner of Hughes Dental Laboratory, Jonathan does not have the technical skills to recognise poor quality dental work when he sees it. Luckily though I did not agree to the costly work recommended by Jonathan and instead found another dentist who uses a much better dental laboratory who employ staff who know what they are doing and have the relevant technical expertise/skills needed. I would not recommend Hughes Dental Laboratory to anyone based on my experience.

Got one of my crowns done here. They couldn't get the proper shape right and left me with inflamed gums for months, I asked them to replace it which they did (after a different dentist informed me that the job was not right) despite them replacing it they still didn't get it right and left me with years of inflamed gums. Finally I went to a different dentist and got it replaced and the new dentist temp crown fits better than what they put in my mouth. I'm very very very very disappointed in the lack of care this office does.

If your lab or you can't get the job done then solve the issue. Don't dismiss the patients complaints! After I complained a second time telling them that it still hurts they said that they can't do anything about it and that it's due to the shape of my tooth. If that's the case then how come the other dentist was able to do a better job?! I'm pissed and frustrated with this office! Don't come here. Run the other direction.

Mr. Hughes recommend some tooth drilling and filling saying that it was somehow scratched even though there was no pain or anything else. After double asking if that was necessary and getting as am answer a double ya i wet ahead with it. After the work done by Dr. Hughes himself I was left with a painful tooth and from me not having anything type of issue i got left with two options: 1.

Do a root canal and lose a good tooth 2. Love with the pain Forever eeryrimt i eat. You do the math but that didn't seem a good suggestion from the dentist since i went from all good to all bad without not even having a re issue.

Minh Nguyen (Dental Hygienist) is awesome! He's been cleaning my teeth for years. He does a thorough job and has a light touch. Absolutely would recommend!

This is a LONG overdue review for Dr. Marks at Hughes Dental Group. It all started 11 years ago, when my child who is now an adult, needed a dentist. It was more complicated than it sounds! My child has been diagnosed with a neuromuscular condition and is confined to a motorized wheelchair since kindergarten. We were turned down by many dentist office as they were worried to take on his case.

We were told to sedate him for regular cleaning which didn't work for us due to weak lungs. Finally, after calling and taking him to several offices and then turned down, we found our amazing Dr. Marks. He said that he along with his awesome assistant Rosie will treat my child. Since then, wet go to Dr. Marks and each time he personally cleans my son's teeth.

He is extremely patient and doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures. Just today, we were there after almost 2 years as we didn't go see him during the pandemic. He was so patient and cleaned my son's teeth with great detail. Not only that, he said that as there were no cavities, he doesn't need fluoride treatment. I just cannot say enough great things about Dr. Marks and Rosie!

They are both SUPERSTARS and make a PERFECT DUO! I am so so grateful for Dr. Marks as without him, my son wouldn't have a dentist for 11 years. We have moved really far from South bay but we happily make the trips to his office twice a year for my son as I don't trust anyone else other than Dr. Marks with my son's needs.

Our family has been taken care of by Dr. Marks at Hughes Dental for over 20 years now, and he has consistently done an excellent job. He's incredibly patient, great with kids and gives honest diagnoses and treatments. Years before coming to Dr. Marks, we were treated by a dentist who recommended unnecessary and expensive treatments. Dr. Marks worked with integrity and managed our dental care well.

I recently went for teeth cleaning during the pandemic, and the waiting room has been arranged to maintain social distancing. Staff is equipped with PPE, as expected, and also, air purifiers have been put in every room. If you're considering Hughes Dental, I highly recommend Dr. Marks, an outstanding dentist all around.

I've been going to Hughes Dental for over 10 years, and it's always been okay. I must say that I wasn't very happy about how long they were closed for COVID initially, and what things were like when they opened back up. At my last appointment in August, they were not letting anyone wait in the waiting room (which my doctor's office does just at much lower capacity), and you had to wait outside, in the heat and smoke.

No one communicates this before you come in so you just stand outside and it doesn't feel any safer than inside with people crowded on a small balcony, but just hot and smoggy. I was supposed to come to get a crown appointment before my move out of the region, but they failed to let me know it was two appointments, and kept making assumptions that I should have known, even though no one mentioned it and I wasn't booked for two appointments by their staff. Dr. Marks was helpful and sensed my frustration and offered to clean my teeth so I wouldn't have to come back for a separate appointment, which I very much appreciated.

Overall my experience has been fine here for many years, but my fillings haven't lasted as long as expected and since I've moved I've been much happier with more modern practices. I would recommend they start modernizing and adopting email (or even text) as a primary form of communication. Hands down the best dental care I have ever received in my life. Dr. Clifford Marks cares deeply about his patients and always goes above & beyond to ensure that the care you get is not just aesthetically pleasing but also works for how you live. He listens very intently and provides solutions to even complex issues. He consistently looks for ways to improve my oral health and he always does it with positivity. He made my life and my smile better. I'm forever thankful to him and his amazing staff!

Dr. Hughes is awesome and dental hygienists are all wonderful. Conservative dentistry - won't fix it if it's not broken or will try basic procedures to fix issues before jumping to costly root canals (unlike other dentists I've seen in the past). All my kids come here as well (14, 6 and 3) and always have a positive experience. We've been coming here for 5 years now. Can't recommend enough.

I've been going to Hughes Dental Group for years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Their doctors, assistants and front office staff are awesome - excellent service, personable, etc. They care about their patients, and go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. The accounting team is straightforward, at times frazzled, and less than happy with the runaround from insurance companies.

They submit service proposals to insurance companies, get pre-authorization, spend years chasing partial payment from the insurance company, are stuck billing the patient, which they don't want to do. It's not uncommon, and it's not fun. Dr. Mark and the Hughes team consistently do a great job. Their dental work and service is excellent. That is worth full price.

Fraudulent company that obviously has no knowledge on how to contact an insurance company. Years later come back with a bill and say the insurance never paid it when in fact it was paid. BILLING IS A DISASTER HERE! DONT GO HERE!

We are a multi generational family spanning over 40 years of using both Dr Marks and Dr Hughes (and his father retired Hughes Sr.). We had all ventured a few times only due to moves, universities, careers, but everyone of us ditched our ventures out right back into this office. No one has better control of their instruments, professionalism and attention to detail.

Their office is straight outta the 60's but for dentistry you're looking for skill and ability to calm me in a vulnerable position. Only con is that you need to be firm with the billing department especially if you have dual insurance many times we go back and forth with this over the years. Double check with your insurance. Also bathrooms are clean but need a remodel and are super tiny.

Maybe its the building. Also I would love to take the littlest ones in our family but they do not have fancy screens/ movies distraction stuff so wait until they are older if they have anxiety. Otherwise, extremely satisfied.

My family have been patients with Hughes Dental Group for over 20 years. Dr. Marks and Rosie are the best - knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind, and gentle which is so important. The hygienist team is outstanding. Very happy with this experienced team of professionals.

Don't do it. Billing is all messed up and you will get slammed with a massive bill 1.5 years after service. I got a crown- it "failed"because the work is SHOTTY! And I got double billed. This is just the icing on the cake. I had two separate occasions where I made appointments that were never entered into the computer because they are all too busy gossiping about their life to actually do their jobs.

She has agreed to work with me- but let's face it. I shouldn't even have to pay for this. I am a hard working mother of four. I never imagined a dentist to be like a little mob coming after you for money you shouldn't be responsible for. Be careful. I even had dual insurence and still have to pay.

Please be careful when you are listening to the woman in the office and the insurance information. The person who is in charge of billing told me that the Dentist wanted to put in a stronger crown then usual. When I asked about the price she said she checked with the insurance and at the most it would cost $50.00 so I agreed. Then I got the work done and a few weeks later I got a bill for $725.00!

When I called them they wouldn't return my calls, they wouldn't return my emails, instead they sent me to collections! This was the 2nd time this "mistake" has happened at this dentist office to me. They also did this to one of my friends. So don't sign ANYTHING because they can't be trusted

I just want to start by saying that this place has no professionalism. The dentist here do not know what they're doing. Not only that but they don't know how to bill or have good customer service. I payed what I had to pay, and months later after the service has been completed I get a bill that says that I owe them money because what they charge me for was only an estimate for the service.

When I told them I would not return for any service they said that's fine go ahead and do that it doesn't matter. They said that my profile will be deleted out of their system. Good luck finding parking since they have a very small and shared parking lot.

Just had to update my review on the hygienist. Mihn is the man! I have had many ah hygienist in my day, never one that can hold a candle to Mihn! He takes his time approximately one hour to clean my teat and no pain. I mean none. I was falling asleep in the chair. Mihn has been working for Hughes Dental group since he graduated from hygienist school 10 years ago.

I almost don't want to write a review cuz I'm afraid he will be booked solid and I won't be able to get in. C; but fortunately for all my fellow Yelpers, I'm a lover not a hater lol. seriously though this guy is the Bruce Lee of hygienistry, One in a Million.

I have been a patient for over 7 years. Dr. Marks is so professional. I have complete confidence in him - both his knowledge and experience. He's great with fillings, and crowns. He takes his time, no rushing. When I'm in the dentist chair I feel like I'm his top priority. The technician making my crown visited the office to personally check the crown color with my surrounding teeth. Rosie is a terrific dental assistant: so warm and friendly. They make me feel like family. I recommend Dr Marks for adults and children. My children (adults now) went to Dr Marks growing up.

This facility is good for young and older alike. The staff won our hearts by just making the experience very positive from start to finish. My cleaning was handled with excellent care by Dental Hygienist Erin, who not only was very gentle and calm through the procedure. But she inspired me to take further care of my teeth at home. Thanks to her first-hand knowledge and excellent conversation, I have taken a big interest in taking better care of my teeth.

My son really enjoys coming to this facility because the staff are so friendly and carry great smiles, they make him feel right and home and made sure that he was comfortable in a room filled with many strange people. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants quality service AND treatment. Good job team!

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Go for a number of fillings, a night guard, and dental evaluation. I am happy to have found a dentist that is not only highly skilled, friendly, and intelligent, but is also extremely trustworthy. I know she isn't trying to do work that isn't medically necessary. Everything she has done for me seems prudent and appropriate and has left me feeling better about my teeth.

Her assistant, Lorie, is also extremely friendly, comforting, and skillful. The staff is very helpful and the service is all that I need. I also had an amazing cleaning from a gentleman whose name I can't recall. I will happily work with him again. The office itself is a bit outdated but the equipment is up-to-date and the talent of Dr. Go shines through to make my experience at Hugh's Dental an excellent one. I will continue to come here and seek Dr. Go's expertise and skill for all my dental needs.

Today, my little boy and I had his 2nd dentist visit. Fortunately, both visits have gone so well, my son says he actually likes going to the dentist! Here's why. Dr Mark was the dentist we saw for our first visit. Another mommy friend recommended him, as she takes her toddler to see him. Dr Mark was so kind and comfortable. He walked us thru all the instruments and let him play with the suction and other tools.

Because of that, my son isn't afraid when they are suctioning and working in his mouth. For this first visit, we just did a light inspection. It was a 'get to know your dentist' and make sure there's no immediate concerns type of visit. I wanted to wait to do the first cleaning so that the first visit would be a good one. Fast forward half a year. Jaymie was a a great hygienist! Dr Mark and Lorena at the counter are kind, too.

My son's cleaning went super well. no anxiety, fear or trouble. I'm so happy about this because I was always terrified of the dentist when I was a kid (and kinda still today). Hughes Dental Group isn't near my house but they're definitely worth the drive! We'd highly recommend them to all of our friends, especially the little ones. See ya there!

Dr. Brownridge is a great dentist! He has fixed some fillings that another dentist did that gave me problems. He also put on a crown that turned out great. He's friendly, takes his time and clearly knows what he's doing. The reason I'm finally writing is because of my new FAVORITE hygienist of all time -- Mark! He's the man to see.

Besides Dr. B. of course! :) He knows what he's doing and beyond hilarious. I literally laughed through my entire appointment, yet my teeth are clean! He definitely made my day better. All of the staff is very nice and they even got me in today for a filling replacement since I was there. The only downside is the office is pretty outdated. That's being polite. :) But it's about the people. And they're awesome!
