Services
Our hygienists have experience working with children and adults. Through continuing courses, patients are kept up to date on the latest dental techniques and education for home dental care. Our assistants received certification in all areas of dental assisting and are registered with the state of Washington. They strive to keep our patients comfortable and informed at all times.
The life changing effect that a new smile can have is truly something amazing. Many of our patients tell us they wish they had their work done years ago and not waited so long. It makes us proud to have this positive affect on our patient's lives. The before - after images to the right are some of our more recent cases and show some of the dramatic results that can be achieved with cosmetic dentistry today. If you have any additional questions please contact our office.
Are you considering dental implants? Let me share my personal experience. I am one of the dental assistants that work here with Dr. Kindem and Dr. Bennett. Northshore Dental is the best dentist, hands down. Their staff are friendly and welcoming (and they always remember your name!). Colleen, my regular hygienist, is amazing! Super friendly, funny, warm, and does a great job cleaning my teeth. My parents also both go to see her and they love her as well! I have never had a bad experience here - I have even had a couple of cavities filled during my time going here and the experiences have been quick and essentially painless.
I have seen all of the dentists here at one time or another, but lately I have seen Dr. Kirkland and she is very professional and thorough. I cannot recommend Northshore Dental enough!

Update: Dr. Kirkland, the other dentist in the practice, is a talented cosmetic dentist who lays out a plan and cares for her patients. Plus she is very gentle after having some additional work done on my teeth.no white knuckles. Colleen (very through, competent hygienist) and, Kayla (insurance wiz at the front) are all super nice ladies that all do a great job!
Unless my insurance changes or I move, I will be returning. I found the group via yelp and went there because it's close to home and the glowing comments from other patients. It's always nice to find a good healthcare provider on the first try and yelp didn't let me down. What a exceptional group of dental professionals. Very impressed thus far.

Super helpful and friendly staff! The receptionist Kayla is super helpful and was great at communicating with me when we were resolving an issue with my insurance. I also recently had a tooth extraction that wasn't covered by my insurance and they worked with me to make sure it was affordable, as well as a quick and painless process. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area!

The staff here is amazing, start to finish! Kayla runs the desk and is very welcoming and thorough in covering any billing questions I had. Colleen handles the dental hygienist duties and is wonderful, I always look forward to our one sided conversations. The doctors here have each been caring and great to work with. Getting any work done on your teeth can be stressful but this group alleviates that and makes it a low stress experience! I highly recommend them and will remain a loyal patient!

I went to the dentist for the first time in an embarrassingly long amount of time. I have a fear of dentists after a negative experience as a child which has kept me away for years. My husband however went in and had a really good experience. It was such a good experience he encouraged me to go in and get my teeth looked out. I'm glad I did. The staff was incredibly friendly and worked with me over certain fears I had.
It was a great experience and I left feeling well taken care of. I can not recommend this place enough. My only regret is that we are just now discovering this place right before we move out of state. Don't let this by you!

Dr. Bennett and Dr. Kirkland are great. Very easy to communicate with and kind and professional. Dr. Bennett is extremely dedicated to her practice and both her and Dr. Kirkland provide exceptional dental work. Their hygienist, Colleen, is amazing and her scaling skills are remarkable. She is kind and gentle, professional and does a thorough job. She is very professional and has great communication skills and is very knowledgeable. The staff is very friendly and the office is very clean. I highly recommend Northshore Dental.

I've had nothing but good experiences here with Dr. Kirkland. She is competent, efficient, takes the time to explain everything she's doing, and has never overcharged me or recommended an unnecessary procedure. I would highly recommend her and this practice. I don't get the feeling I'm paying extra for high rents on a fancy office. Instead, the people at Northshore seem like a great, down to earth little group of people who genuinely enjoy what they do.

Used to be a happy patient of Dr. Bennett until recently. I had two appts scheduled to fix some cavities and after the first apt, I checked my insurance and realized the fillings weren't being covered. I then called the office to cancel my second appointment so I wouldn't have a bigger out of pocket bill and the receptionist asked who my insurance was and stated that they weren't currently contracted with them but would be soon and would postpone my billing until then.
I had a thought this was not ok but it was only two weeks away and she convinced me I would be fine. Fast forward to today, after 10+ attempts to speak to the doctor about my $700 bill (for 4 fillings with some insurance coverage), I've gotten no where. I only ever get to talk to the receptionist and she continues to think I am making this up.
The first time I called, after I received the bill, the receptionist told me the woman who claimed to be able to postpone billing was "let go" and this is "probably why". Yet they still don't want to help me with this huge unfair bill. They seem to not care at all that I was convinced to keep my appointment and am now in the hole for hundreds of dollars.
All I am asking is for a fair arrangement and they want nothing to do with that. The new receptionist has absolutely no customer service skills as she continues to lie about information she let slip the first time and is very patronizing on the phone. I will be heading to the new Cooley Smiles, which I should have done last year but felt like I wanted to keep my loyalty at Northshore. If anyone is looking for a new dentist, don't chose Northshore Dental.
