I love Dr. Kuperstein! She has amazing bedside manner, and I've enjoyed talking to every other employee in the office. Their finance coordinator was so nice and helped too. I was in so much pain before I started my treatment, and the pain relief has been so immense it literally makes me weepy thinking about my life before coming here. Thank you Parkside!

Dr. Kuperstein and the entire team at Parkside Orthodontics have been great! They took the time to understand my child's needs and created a great treatment plan. They monitored my child's progress carefully and made all adjustments. They answered all our questions and took great care with the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Kuperstein and her staff!

I had an amazing experience at Parkside and would recommend this practice to anyone. I had Invisalign braces for 2.5 years and Dr. Kuperstein and her staff kept me well informed throughout the process and during each visit. I was also pleased and impressed with the way they handled treatments and appointments in regards to covid, it was very professional and again I felt well informed.
I am thrilled with the results from my Invisalign. Dr. Kuperstein and family reside in the same neighborhood as well which I felt translated into an extra commitment to great service. It was a fantastic investment in myself and a great place to do it.

Great customer service from our first inquiry to our first braces appt. Each team member has been clear in communications, thorough with follow up and able to answer all our questions. I appreciate they speak directly to our 8 year old about what they'll be doing, setting her expectations of the experience and listen to her questions.

Parkside runs a lovely business--on our first visit we had a staff member walk us through the whole orthodontic process, toured the office, talked about financing the treatment, etc. We had some imagery taken, met with Dr. Cooperstein who took a first look at our daughter and evaluated her needs, took digital scans of her mouth, and we left with a plan, the cost, and some spacers in her teeth.
Second visit had 3D prints of the teeth, the hardware ready to go, and we were in and out, no rush, all questions answered, in less than an hour wearing a full mouth of braces. The staff is friendly, helpful, gave clear instructions. They were about 10 minutes late, but at 5-minutes late they came to me to apologize, asked if we were OK on time. We were still out before we had expected and as I said, not rushed. So far two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

Excellent care for both our children! Combined, we had four full years of appointments and experience with Dr. K and her team. Never once was a visit less than perfect. They were always so kind and caring, punctual, and really knew each of my kids and their personalities. Our oldest had a difficult case with his teeth, and now they look amazing. I highly recommend Parkside Orthodontics!

Clear communication, streamlined organization, and stellar friendly care are immediately apparent at Parkside. My son felt comfortable and empowered with the process of beginning his treatment. This is a great place. These are wonderful people. If you're shopping for an orthodontist, you can stop now. You found the right place!

We chose Parkside because my sister also used them and had a good experience. My child needed braces and after a few bad dentist experiences anything related was challenging. Vanessa at Parkside made sure that she went at a pace my child could manage, explaining every little move, but also being firm in getting the treatment done. Two years later and we just removed braces yesterday.
My kids teeth look amazing and we are excited to start retainers. Appreciate everyone there at Parkside from the receptionists who were always kind and patient to Dr Kuperstein who goes above and beyond to try and engage with the children and is such a lovely and kind human.

I've been a patient at Parkside for what felt like forever, but it was actually about 5 years or so. Within this time, I went through a maxillofacial surgery that definitely added more challenges then we both anticipated. But though it all, for the entire time, Dr. Kuperstein was amazing! the fact that my surgery was a success. The fact that I am more confident then ever before when it comes to my smile, I owe it all to Dr. Kuperstein.
There is no doubt the surgery wouldn't have happened if Dr. Kuperstein didn't step in and interject the way she did. For that, I am forever appreciative, & thankful of Dr. Kuperstein and Parkside orthodontics. I encourage anyone who is not fully confident with their smile to give Parkside a try. You will be well taken care of & fully satisfied with the high level of care, & patient centered service that you'll receive.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this wonderful practice! Each and every person I interacted with was extremely proficient at their job, and I was always cared for professionally and with kindness. Dr. Kuperstein is highly skilled at her job, and she always takes time to talk about any concerns or questions. She has built an amazing team to take care of her patients, and I recommend the practice to anyone considering orthodontic treatment!

Reading the reviews below made me so sad, I have debating writing a review but 5+ years after my experience with Parkside Orthodontics, I decided to do so. I am now in my early 20's having to get a second round of braces after having braces for nearly 3 years in my teenage years with Parkside Orthodontics, and this whole experience is bringing up so many bad memories I had at the clinic.
I had metal braces with rubber bands for 2.5 years, where only THEN Dr. Kuperstein told me that I needed to have 4 teeth extracted in order for my smile to be corrected, and to pay for another couple years of braces after 2.5 YEARS of getting treatment, not even mentioning once beforehand that this might be something I had to do. Since my parents didn't budget for another few years of braces, they removed my braces early while my teeth still stuck out and my bite was messed up.
I was instantly unhappy with my teeth, and didn't understand why she waited so long to tell me I would need to get extractions for the smile I wanted. The funniest thing was when I went to college, I met someone else who went to her clinic and had the EXACT same experience, a few years in Dr. Kuperstein suddenly told her she needed extractions but couldn't afford to keep up with ortho treatment.
I spent so many years being unhappy with my smile because of Parkside Orthodontics and I am so happy to finally have a great orthodontist who is helping me get the smile I want. (BTW, I don't need extractions, just extra attention to my bite!)

I'm not happy to have to write this review, but I hope to warn others to make sure to find a good, highly rated orthodontist. My initial impression was very good, so I was very optimistic in the beginning and I signed up with them. Soon I noticed how unfriendly or unhappy the staff seemed to be towards me, I'm not sure if it was directed towards me or if they were unhappy in general.
In the end, I felt like the lower half of my face was ruined and I had to go to another orthodontist to fix it. I had to pay twice for the same procedure, so I'm still not completely happy with my teeth but much of the second procedure was fixing what was messed up the first time around. I don't want to go into details, but my experience was very similar to the other 1 star reviews on this page, so refer to those if you want to be aware of what to be wary of.

I was referred to Dr Kuperstein from my dentist. I had a lot of reservations of getting orthodontics in the first place as an adult. Dr Kuperstein and her assistant were very friendly and accommodating. They thoroughly explained the process and timeline and walked through different options during my consultation. I did not move forward at this office as I found that it was not in network for my insurance which is the only reason why I didn't select Parkside. The front staff is friendly and attentive and bonus they have a parking lot behind their building!

I was refer to Parkside Ortho, from my Dentist Dr. Rafia in NW. The location is easy to find and they have a parking lot in the rear. The front desk team is very nice, and welcoming. The ambiance is light and they have coffee, tea, and water. Since I was going in for a consultation for braces I met with Nichole the treatment coordinated. She's super friendly and bubbly, high spirits and a total people person.
When I met doctor Kuperstein she was super friendly and informative- she gave me three options. I asked my questions and we chatted a bit. Then Nichole went over the options and my insurance coverage and made plans for what were the next steps. Overall great first impression! If I decide to move forward with this process I will update this review

My daughter was a patient at Parkside for phase 1 of her orthodontic work. We chose the clinic because it was recommended by her (then) dentist, the location was convenient and the cost was reasonable. From the get go, I found them to be hard to communicate with. This problem increased as time went by. While the braces part of the treatment went pretty well, my daughter's retainer NEVER fit properly from day one.
It was always falling out and she never got used to talking with it in place. We returned to the clinic roughly every other week over the course of the year or so that she had the retainer, saying that it didn't fit. They would file it down a little, comment on how much her mouth had changed so quickly, and send us on our way. Dr. Kuperstein admitted one time that my daughter's teeth had moved back toward their pre-braces position, but that it was "nothing that we can't take care of later".
When I asked her about this a couple of weeks later, suggesting that she needed a new retainer that fit better to hold the space, the doctor denied that there had ever been any movement backwards. She frequently contradicted herself in this manner, and was pretty much always defensive and confusing to talk to. The assistants all seemed burnt out and were usually rough and unfriendly.
At our last appointment, we were told that my daughter no longer needed to wear the retainer (even though all her teeth weren't in yet) and that we should wait 6 months before our next appointment, because at age 11 her jaws would be doing a lot of growing and maybe if they grew enough, we could avoid "drastic measures". Shortly after that appointment, my daughter had a routine cleaning with her (new) dentist who was really surprised by what he saw in her mouth and what we told him.
He explained that her jaw was more or less done growing and that she needed to get a second opinion from another orthodontist soon. We saw two orthodontists at his recommendation, both of whom confirmed (after looking at Parkside's xrays and comparing them to my daughter's mouth) that the retainer had completely failed to hold the space, that her jaw was pretty much done growing, and that she needed to start "phase 2" asap.
We have started braces, along with a device called the advansync, which avoids the "drastic measures' that Parkside mentioned (pulling adult teeth and using a headgear). Parkside never communicated with my daughter's dentist about the work they were doing, which was a surprise to him. Our current orthodontist office is in close touch with him, are kind, clear, informative and available to talk to. I HIGHLY recommend that you seek orthodontic care elsewhere. I'm sure Parkside can do a decent job in many situations but they really really failed us.

I've been going to Parkside Ortho for over a year and a half while I've had my braces. The dentist is very knowledgeable and personable. The entire staff, from the front desk to the hygienists provide great service and are very customer service friendly. My only complaint is the hours in which they are open. They only have one early day and one late day per week, which makes is very difficult for working people to get appointments. Other than that, I would recommend Parkside Ortho to anyone looking to get braces!

I strongly recommend that you go elsewhere for your orthodontic treatment. I was a patient here for four and one half years of my life. My teeth are worse than when I started treatment. Now I can only chew on one side. My teeth dont look good either, slightly bucked. The reason for these results is that she "forgot" to apply my bottom braces. I didn't understand until now how the treatment should go so I didn't question her.
I really thought she was an expert. Now I realize how naive I was. Now other orthos I consulted with are apalled not only that she did that, but that she charged me for full price for half the work. The worse thing was that she lied about so many things to cover her mistakes. There is truly a lack of integrity here. In the end when I called her on her mistakes, her lies and my results she told me "I'll do better next time". In other words, with the next patient. Thanks, glad you were able to 'practice" on me. Do not let her fancy office fool you, she is only now gaining her experience.

Having endured many years of being self-conscious of my crooked teeth, I had finally summed up the courage to get braces as an adult. Braces are an expensive investment, and I really wanted to have them done right. After much countless research and a couple of consultations at different orthodontic clinics, I finally decided to get my braces done at Parkside Orthodontics.
I chose to get my braces at Parkside because of how knowledgeable and friendly Dr. Kuperstein and her staff was when I went in to get my consultation. They were able to clearly explain to me my situation and the treatment options that I had choose from. As of now, I think I had made to right decision to go with Parkside. It has been a little bit over a year since I have gotten my clear braces.
The change in my teeth alignment and straightening has been exciting and wonderful. Dr. Kuperstein and her staff has not only been friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, but they have also provided me with great advice and communication to ensure that all of my orthodontics needs are met. The service that they have provided up until now has exceeded all of my expectation and has met every dimension for quality.
They are truly reliable, responsive, assuring, empathetic, and tangible for their patients. Overall, I highly recommend Parkside Orthodontics to all those in need of a great orthodontist.

Unfortunately I am here because I have to spend money on braces for my daughter. Fortunately this place was recommended my my dentist because the staff is great, and talk to my daughter & explain things to her while I listen. Several of the neighborhood kids go here and I haven't heard a bad thing about it.
