Edit: My initial review was 6 years ago. The practice has now changed to a new owner, Dr. Holbrook, and he is wonderful! Very thorough, kind, and efficient. They make having dental work done as comfortable and relaxing as possible. I honestly don't dread it at all! I LOVE Dr Carter and all of her staff! So caring and professional! Dr. Carter is honest and straightforward and so helpful! For every dental procedure I've had to have done at their office she always makes sure I'm 100% comfortable and relaxed! I will NEVER go anywhere else!

In the 1.5 yrs I went to Dr. Carter, she was just plain rude 75% of the time - always in a bad mood and short with everyone including her staff. Every single visit, she'd find a new cavity. I was miraculously cured of cavities when I stopped using her. I haven't had a cavity in 15 years since I started seeing a new dentist. I would have written this review sooner but I'm just now getting around to fixing the mess she left me with. Maybe she's more ethical now and in a better mood.who knows.

Amazing and friendly staff. My hygienist remembered our conversation 6 months ago! They truly care and make the experience as pleasant as possible. Dr. Carter-O'Shea has the unique qualities of friendliness, professionalism, and humor that is difficult to find in an experienced dentist. Her and her team will take outstanding care of your families' teeth and gums.

Even though we are in stressful times, my dental visit was actually a welcoming ritual. I've got to say, I felt absolutely safe and comfortable returning to the process. The staff and doctor went above and beyond the PPE protocol. In fact, I'm returning to finish up a small filling repair and with no worries.

This office has been taking care of my dental needs for years. They are great at working with clients to meet their needs. The one downfall is they are hard to get into in case of emergency. My husband's dentures broke and they couldn't get him in for a month. We went elsewhere. You can't be without teeth for that long and then have to wait for them to be made. I have never needed emergency services so I can't say if this was a fluke or a common thing.

Dr is very kind and considerate of all her patients. She wants you to feel like you are at her home. Great staff

Dr Carter's office is the only dentist we will go to! They have top notch, high-end technology at diagnosing cavities, doing xrays, etc. They are so very friendly, the entire staff is just amazing! Steve is our go-to hygienist for all our families cleanings. He's the best! I'm so glad a friend of ours recommended them to us! They do not rush you in and out for cleanings either. I feel they do a very thorough job compared to other places. I highly recommended Dr Susan Carter-O'Shea as your family dentist!

I have been going to Susan Carter for the past 8-9 years. Steve is my dental hygienist and I cannot say enough nice things about him. He is so nice and really good at his job. He does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and he is always willing to answer any questions I have. Dr. Carter is a very experienced dentist. She knows what she is doing, which really helps reduce my own anxiety about going to the dentist.

I have horrible teeth, and I have had a lot of dental work done. Every time I have to go in to have more work done, Dr. Carter and her staff always make sure I am comfortable. Just this week, I had a horrible toothache. I called her office around 10am and they told me to come in at 1pm, so Dr. Carter could look at my tooth. I came in and she determined the tooth needed a root canal. Her staff called the oral surgeon's office and got me in for a root canal that afternoon!

Nice office with friendly staff. Up to date with texting and emailing appointment reminders to help with busy professionals and the younger crowd. Recommend to friends for sure.

One of the worst dental experience ever. I took both of my children to her and every appointment we went to they had at least two cavities if not more. After telling me my one child had six, yes six, cavities at one appointment I decided to change dentists. The next dentist did not find one cavity. There were a few teeth that had watch areas but he gave us the option of putting a sealant on them that would keep her from needing fillings.

Both of my children had no problem going to the dentist until we went to Dr. Carter and they both would get apprehensive knowing they had to go. She has a terrible beside manner and is very unprofessional.

I have always gone to small hometown dentist and after moving away I've found another that has the same feeling. Very nice, professional, just a personal call away if you need something. I would recommend to all.

Dr. Carter's office is and has always been the kindest office to enter! Starting with the sweet girls at the front desk, to Steve the dental hygienist and of course Dr. Susan Carter. These folks have gone above and beyond for my children and me- many times! I feel lucky to work with with the whole staff and it's always a pleasure to visit! Thank you again, Anne.

I love this office! I recommend everyone I know to go here for anything dental related, big or small. They are warm but not overly touchy. I went in for an emergency appointment right after I was trampled by a horse and got my front tooth knocked out. They where so professional and straight forward with me, it was so refreshing compared to other offices where they give you the run around.

The told me the course of action I needed but where not pushy, they where so understanding and compassionate. They helped me through a terrible experience and even worked extremely hard to get my crown done in time for a big event I had. Amazing office filled with consistently amazing people! Never will I go anywhere else.

If you are obsessed with having perfectly white teeth (and a perfect tan to go with it) then you will have lots in common with Dr. Susan Carter-O'Shea. She was really annoying, and unprofessional.

Great experience! Very clean office, professional and friendly staff. Everyone was very pleasant and knowledgable from the front desk to Dr. Carter herself. The dental assistant Pam was very patient and caring with my 6 year old Morgan who sometimes gets anxious at the dentist. Would highly recommend them to anyone!
