Established by Dr. John Cunningham in 1978 Bonita Family Dental aims to provide quality dental care to you and your family. Bonita Family Dental is formed to serve the residents of South County. We have been providing quality dental care since its inaugural in the year1978. Dr. John Cunningham started the practice in the same shopping mall in which it is located today. The primary goal of the firm is to provide excellent dental care needs for local clients. Currently, we are serving paediatric and adult patients.
We are the longest-established and most-reputable dental practice in the South County (over 40 years), offering an end-to-end solution to third-generation patients from the same families. We take care of all your Preventative, Restorative, Cosmetic, Endodontic, Periodontic and Surgical needs, without the need to go to different offices/providers.

Front office team members are trained to assist the needs of our patients. Our dedicated comprising of Treatment Coordinators, Hygiene Coordinators, Phone Coordinators, and Reception Coordinators are tutored to make our patients feel comfortable with an emphasis on safety. We offer a full range of preventive, soothing, and cosmetic services.

I had been a patient of Dr. Hegde for over 10 years. I have recommended her to co-workers, friends and family through out the years. She is professional and extremely talented, . She seems to have a gift. I never felt pain during or after the MANY procedures she performed on me. Unfortunately, her office staff needs help. I planed invisalign and explained to the receptionist I would be paying cash and needed to spread out my appointments bi-weekly, I also had questions regarding my insurance.
She promised a call back due to not knowing the answers. I never received a call back, I considered myself a loyal customer/patient and felt a courtesy call would've been nice. I have since found a new dental office. I would like to thank you Dr Hegde for providing me and my family great work.

I've been a client here for 20 years. I love this office and staff. I go here for regular dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. Dr. Cunningham, father and son, built a great practice, and the new owner, Dr. Hegde is so wonderful it is even better. My Mom got a full set of veneers here about 15 years ago and absolutely loves them. Today I had a chipped front tooth and Al helped me out with great attention to detail when shaping, and it looks even better than before it chipped. Dr. Hegde is my current dentist here and I love to see her. Her approach is kind and gentle with great attention to aesthetic detail. She is more than a dentist, she's a true blessing.

Had emergency situation with broken tooth. The clinic got me in next morning. They worked with me on my treatment plan, accommodating my travel schedule! We are full time RVers, visiting the area and doctor and staff were great. Would recommend this clinic to anyone in the area for everything from preventive dental care to specialty care
