Prevention is our main focus at Dr Thomas L. Anderson and Associates. We are a general dentist that takes pride in and appreciates the families that choose us to help them prevent dental disease. New dental procedures and techniques allow us to restore your smile more quickly and conservatively, using materials that are virtually invisible!
To prevent means to keep from happening. Everybody knows that most health and dental problems are preventable. In recent years, the link between oral disease and other health problems has been firmly established. Your mouth is the gateway to your entire body and it's health determines the overall health of your body. We believe that brushing, flossing, and regular dental check ups are the key ingredients to a beautiful smile and a happy and healthy you!
For years, dentists have been preventing cavities by applying fluoride and sealants to teeth. Fluoride hardens teeth making the tooth more resistant to acids, sugars and plaque bacteria in the mouth, helping to prevent tooth decay. Fluoride as gel, varnish or foam can be applied to the teeth. Dental Sealants protect the susceptible areas by "sealing out" food and plaque.
At the heart of any prevention program is a complete dental exam. This exam often includes dental radiographs (dental x-rays). We use this information to inform you about the overall condition of your mouth and of any dental care that is needed. Afterwords, we clean your teeth to remove any stain, plaque, and tartar buildup.

Went in for cleaning, found out I needed two root canals. Got those done temp crown continuous fall off on both tooths. Had to take on several times.then I got my permanent crowns a week later one had a hole on it had to go back, they put another temp on it that fallen off. Reached out to manager which was not helpful she said she would talk to dr about my crowns. Next time I got a call back was to let me know my crown had came in. Worst experience in a dental office. Now I have pain in my crown.

Let me start by saying I think Dr Anderson is a great dentist. However somehow I got switched to another dentist in the office. I had some work needing to be done. Im no pain with the tooth. Dr Perry went in to a tooth that I needed a crown on and said he'll know once he's in there if I needed a root canal or not. Said I didn't. Went home and was in pain and dealt with it for a good week. Went back and told him this is hurting.
He then realized I DID need a root canal. At this point it was infected. Did partial root canal. Temp fall off the next day had to go back still hurt. He did another root canal. Didn't give any pain management for this. Then I call and they said I need to see a root specialist if it's still borrowerimg me because it's waking me in the middle of the night. At this point I now took off 4 half days for 1 tooth. Still in pain refused to give any pain meds. It's not been a good experience at all.
