Dr Cruz is a genius in his field and I really mean it. As a naturopath knowing how sleep and breathing properly is essential I can't recommend Dr. Cruz enough. I feel very lucky to have found him. My entire family has seen the difference from my 8 year old child not bed wetting anymore and being able to breath normal all night without waking up. I'm not grinding my teeth anymore and my jaw looks a lot younger, my sleep has improved and my dark circles have disappeared.

Dr Da Cruz is unlike any other dentist I've come across. He has an incredibly deep understanding of not just the mouth and jaw, but the human body as a whole (putting real meaning into name 'Wholistic Dentistry'). He's also a great man in general and you can tell he genuinely wants to help people.

Best, most relaxed dental practice. I highly recommend a consultation here for wisdom tooth treatment. I have chosen a non-invasive, wholistic treatment which is the SOMA device. An alternative to surgery, also significantly more affordable. My experience so far with SOMA has been incredible. I experienced a TMJ dislocation in the middle of a trip to Australia. After a series of complete misdiagnosis by various doctors, a friend recommended I see Dr. Da Cruz. I got to Dr. Da Cruz not being able to open my mouth or eat and under severe pain, stress and every possible side effect in the TMJ book. Dr. Da Cruz was able to detect the problem, calm me down and guide me through the process; most importantly - he assured me that I will get through it. TMJ is a subject many practitioners don't know much about. Often, patients get misdiagnosed or worse - referred to unnecessary surgeries that can have long lasting damage. Dr. Da Cruz has a non-invasive wholistic approach: the treatment involved creating his SOMA appliance which is very unique (and has made an impact even within the first week of wearing it), in addition to exercises for the jaw, neck and back, some nutritional guidance and supplements, recommendations for osteopath treatments, stretching of the joint/jaw muscles, regular check-ups and more.

He sees every person for their own needs and situation, he's able to think creatively and intuitively and he doesn't cut any corners. In that respect he is a very unique practitioner in his ability to respond to the connection between mind and body, and achieve results where western medicine often fails. The staff whom I was in contact with: Pensri his dental assitant, and Maddie at the clinic, are all incredibly kind, helpful and extremely professional.

It's rare to come across such dedicated team who genuinely wants their patients to get better, and are more than willing to walk that extra mile. I feel lucky for coming across Wholistic Dentistry (and saving myself from unnecessary surgeries and damage). I have been coming to this practice for about 20 years, and have been thoroughly impressed by it all that time. But what puts it in a league of its own is that Dr Da Cruz in particular offers so much more than traditional dentistry, with an approach capable of answering broader and more serious health issues than you would ever expect from dentistry.

Dr Da Cruz is fantastic. I had many years of facial pain and TMJ problems after orthodontic work with braces. I was finally able to have a complete resoultion after wearing his custom made SOMA which relaxes and realigns the jaw (not just a splint to stop you grinding your teeth at night). Please don't waste money and risk your health on braces. See this man, someone who actually understands the body and is way ahead of his time. Thank you Dr Cruz for all your help.

Dr Da Cruz and everyone at this practice are something else, from the receptionists to the other dentists (the ones that I have met and spoken to) everyone has been lovely and gone above and beyond, special shout out to Sharon! Dr Da Cruz himself just genuinely wants to help people, which he does a lot. It's evident in the way he runs his practice and where his priorities are.

He has done a lot for me so far and I'm excited to see where his SOMA device takes me, which I only recently had fitted by him (I will update this review after using if for a while) He is a very fair man who knows his domain VERY well and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about it. What he does is extremely interesting and its a shame its not more well known, hopefully as this field of particular health care emerges more, more people will accept and use it. check his site for a very small few of his case studies out of many more.

It's not just teeth straightening its health. You'd be surprised just how many health conditions a misplaced/retrued lower jaw can and does cause. Both my Girlfriend and I went for a consult re: SOMA with Dr Da Cruz and were astounded by the instant results and improvements in his testing etc. She will be back in August or so to get SOMA as well.

Dr Da Cruz is genuinely amazing, producing great results on my daughter's teeth with (his invented) SOMA mouth pieces, and it surely beats having expensive braces and its a fraction of the cost braces and fixes a whole lot more. In most cases you could probably forget braces for your kids (or your selves). go and see Dr Da Cruz who is a genius, and is highly recommended. It's worth it!
