Our practice specializes in treating infants, children and adolescents in a caring and safe environment. We welcome those patients who have special medical needs or may simply be anxious about dental treatment. Dental caries (cavities) is the most common chronic disease of childhood according to the U.S. Surgeon General report on oral health. To that end, we focus our efforts not only on treating dental caries, but just as importantly prevention of the disease. To encourage a healthy future, we offer a complimentary examination for children who are under the age of two and do not have dental insurance.

For those who need more anesthetics, we offer sedatives, which are most effective if they are given before we even start; though, if needed, we can give them during the procedure.

Dr. Todd is the BEST. This is the first time my 12 year old autistic son has felt comfortable with a dentist. Dr. Todd and staff are professional and not pushy, they are very PATIENT and CREATIVE when working with children with fears. I'm so grateful to have found a dental practice I can TRUST with my child

Great pediatric dental group. They provide you with everything you need to ensure you are prepared for your upcoming visit and will make your child feel totally comfortable. We had very positive and fun experience with our now 3 year old (he went for the first time when he was 2). He loved it! The office decor is 100% kid friendly and all the staff are welcoming and patient. We love Dr. Todd and will be back with our toddler and baby!

Wanting our child to love the dentist was our priority. I believe this is the top priority at South Bay Pediatric Dental too. Even after fillings, our daughter got such special treatment and appropriate care, that she loves to see Dr Todd. As parents, we love having affordable care and honesty about what needs to be done. We drive 45 mins to come to South Bay Pediatric Dental, they are that good!

My kids LOVE going to the dentist now. They always ask to go back after we leave! The office mails out a story book personalized to your child. They gift fun free toothbrushes, and they always give a toy at the end! The kids get to watch TV which is installed in the ceiling and can listen to audio through a set of headphones. I would recommend this dentist to anyone with kids.
For those military moms. THEY EVEN TAKE UNITED CONCORDIA! I think even after we move, I will drive the kids down here for their appointments. After you try this place, you will never go any where else.
