Thomas Thomas & Holwick

Its been awhile since I've been to this practice but its the best I've ever been to hands-down, especially considering some of the most recent dental experiences that I've had out-of-state. Dr. Holwick is knowledgeable and innovative. He determined a novel method to treat a lingering gum recession issue. When his method was used, the exposed dentin never bothered me.

I could eat and drink anything I wanted and be pain free. Additionally, he is compassionate. One night, an old filling fell out of a tooth. It was very painful. I called the office after hours. He came to the office after hours and provided treatment to make the pain more manageable overnight. Moreover, their staff exhibits the highest attention to detail in cleanliness.

I would highly recommend this practice. I wish I could find a dental practice just like this one more proximate to where I live now. This practice excels, relative to other practice's, because they take pride in their work and treat customers courteous, respectfully and use effective methods of treatment.

I've been a patient for for over 10 years now. My entire family and I love the staff and doctors. They take great care of you, no pressure or pushing services you don't need. They are personable and caring. I've referred friends there with confidence that they'll love the practice too. My three children never mind going to the dentist, that should tell you something!

I can't say enough nice things about the doctors and the staff at this place. I'm so happy to have found them after I moved here 2 years ago. I've had the best care from cleanings to crowns.

Honestly, I've always hated the dentist, but this is the nicest place I've ever been to and the people who work here make it a genuinely enjoyable experience. Incredibly nice people who take good care of you and make it feel very homey as well. Overall, a fantastic dentistry place.

We love Dr. Thomas. You will not find a better dentist. I found him by asking a periodontist who the best dentist in the area was and he recommended Dr. Thomas hands-down. Now we have been going to him for years and recommend his office to all our friends and family and they all love him too. I had so much bad dental work done over my lifetime that I developed a phobia of dentistry, but Dr Thomas has cured me of that. He's that good!

I've been going to this dentist for 20+ years and it's always a great experience! The entire staff is very nice and caring. What resonates with me is how the staff tries to get to know you personally and can carry on a conversation even though it's hard to respond sometimes haha. I would definitely recommend this dentist to other people. Thank you for everything y'all do.

This dentist office has taken great care of me. I've had regular preventive care as well as a procedure. All the doctors and support staff are great, take time with you and explain things. They do a great job with my insurance filing and helping me decide on care beyond my coverages. The office's pandemic procedures have been efficient and streamlined, updated and flexible without sacrificing any quality of care or attention.

Always on time. The staff is very considerate. I have been a patient there for over 20 years and even though I have moved quite a distance from them, I still come back to them. I have no intention of changing, they are that good. The front and back office are terrific and easy to deal with.

Friendly staff. Always amazing service, and very thorough. Very knowledgeable and helpful with questions and concerns. Clean environment with a very warm feel. When I'm there I feel like part of a family. Always leaving showing off a huge smile!

Excellent visit every time; super friendly staff and doctors. Kim, the hygienist was great and very humorous during the whole session. Very comfortable atmosphere and relaxed. They've been my dentists for several years and would never change.

I have seen Drs. Thomas and Thomas for the past 30 years and their service is unmatched. You can search far and wide in the Hampton Roads area and you will not find a more genuine, kind, or professional group of dental experts. In what can feel like a vulnerable part of healthcare (dentistry), they go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. They are the very best of the very best.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Thomas and his/her staff! My whole family goes to them for our dentistry needs. My kids love when they have a dentist appointment because they make it fun. My experience with the entire office has always exceeded any level of previous care. Their standards are high and everyone is cheerful in performing their tasks. The staff seems to like and support one another and that feeling transfers to a very cordial atmosphere in the office.

My appointment was for a cleaning. I also had two crowns that needed to be inserted. They were understaffed and booked for the entire day. They promised that if I stayed in the office they would find a way to work me in, and they did. Additionally I had a crown that came out before my appointment. They also reinserted the crown. They took time to do that also. I can't rave enough about this crew. They really looked after all of my needs today. I will always use this group for my dental needs. They're the best!

This dedicated staff amazes me with each appointment I have had. They work so "smoothly" with each other and that's nice to observe with four hands in my mouth. They've always been considerate and concerned with my comfort zone during any procedure. I also notice how precise each step is taken during their work. I now know how it feels to walk into a Dentists' office with NO fear whatsoever. I couldn't be more pleased with this group.

The whole office staff are welcoming, encouraging and supportive. I've needed some extensive work done. Dr. Thomas and the office staff have encouraged the work I need done while empowering me to move forward with healthy dental goals at my pace. I can't thank them enough for my new smile and better health. I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend this fine practice.
