Tremont Dental Care - Og R Lim

I've been going to Tremont Dental for many years. It is a well run office whose staff provide exceptional dental care. My children also come here now to get their teeth cleaned after aging out of their pediatric dentist. They provide a soft touch to a difficult job.

I cannot offer enough praise to Dr Og Lim and her team. I have been going to Tremont Dental for. oh gosh! I can't remember?!? 10+ years? More? Everyone from the receptionist/office manager to the hygienists and doctors are exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The office itself is incredibly clean while also relaxing. I have been going here for many years and think that the folks here are great. My hygienist, Cindy, is exceptional. She is kind, thorough and attentive. The place also seems to be doing a great job with cleanliness and COVID, which made me feel safe while I was there.

I really hate writing this review, because I was a VERY happy patient for 7 years. Last year, that changed. Without any discussion with someone in the office, I was hit with a $600 bill. When I discussed it with them, I was told my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure. When I called my insurance company, they said the claim was filed incorrectly by the office.

No problem, everyone makes mistakes. But it took MULTIPLE more calls to even get them to refile the claim. I was assured that if there were any more issues, they'd call me back. Well, it looks like that was an empty gesture. I never received a call back, and I'm still on the hook for the bill. Because I don't want my credit taking a hit, I paid the bill, and I asked for the Dr. Dempsey or Dr.

Park to call me back to discuss further. When I tried to call back after not hearing anything, I was hung up on. My displeasure is with the front office, not the doctors. But this is shocking. I really liked coming here, but Orlando's behavior has forced me to get care elsewhere. I still would like that call back from Dr. Park or Dr. Demspey.

It's time to go back to the dentist! My cleaning was over due because of COVID and that I found unacceptable. The experience I had was as good as ever, which is excellent. The only difference was the level of ppe that everyone was wearing. I felt perfectly comfortable and it made me very happy to be there. Thank you! Thank you again, Stephen.

Keeping up my dental health is always important, but during this "age of Covid" I was nervous about having a dental cleaning. After visiting Tremont Dental this week for a cleaning, I can report that they are going a great job to keep patients safe during visits. I showed up on time for my appointment and was taken right away. Face masks are required for everyone and worn by all employees.

There are Hepa filters continually cleaning the air. The hyengenist was wearing gloves, 2 masks, a face shield, and a smock - fully protection for her and me. I'm glad I went and had a great visit!

My appointment was for some minor dental surgery. COVID precautions were very thorough and well done, so no concerns about being there. Staff is friendly and personable. Procedure went well, and all the next steps were explained clearly and without hurry. And the dentist called me later that same day at home to check in on how I was doing.

Whomever is working your front desk is wildly unhelpful and very dismissing. While calling to try and find a new dentist since moving to Boston and was told you are not taking new patients, I asked do you have any recommendations of other dentists in our neighborhood or anyone you have been sending clients who may need emergency dental work done. She responded 'i don't know and then said yea i just like don't know, look up other dentists around the street.' After following up trying to understand that she really didn't have a recommendation or a timeline for when they would be accepting new clients, she just kept saying 'yea like i don't know.' This tells me more than enough about the service that I would have received if I was a patient there and happy to take my business elsewhere. The other recent reviews on the customer service of their front office staff should be red flags all around of how patients are treated

I've been going to Tremont Dental for a number of years and couldn't be happier. They are a kind, professional, and very knowledgeable group of people. They also don't push unnecessary procedures/dental work unlike my prior dentist. The office is modern and spotless. Further, I felt very comfortable going to my recent cleaning with their COVID safety measures in place.

Next year will be 20 years as a patient of Tremont Dental Care, with about 10 years with Cindy. Cindy is the best. I absolutely adore her. And I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. It is always a very pleasant experience. Dr. Park who has seen me for the last few years is also excellent and a joy to see. All the staff are very welcoming and have become very familiar. I happen to have very strong teeth so the vast majority of my care is just cleaning (which is fine by me :) ). Love my Dental team.
