Ventura Endodontics

Dr. Jue has rescued me several times. Other dentists send patients to him to do the difficult things. He is an expert in what he does, and makes it look easy. For me, his treatments have been pretty much painless. I am very grateful for him, and highly recommend him.

Dr. Yamamoto is caring, extremely knowledgeable and professional. His office has the highest level of cleanliness. Both my husband and I have had root canals which no one really wants but he and his staff make it comfortable and painless.

Dr. Timothy Jue provided me with the best care possible. He clearly has many years of experience. I have had 3 root canals previous to the one today. He was far more expedient, professional, skilled and personable than my previous experiences. The staff was courteous and professional. I am so thankful for excellent dental care. I highly recommend Ventura Endodontics - consider me a fan.

Everyone at Ventura Endodontics I had the pleasure of interfacing with was professional, efficient, friendly, and courteous. Dr. Erin Duarte was outstanding. Not is she technically highly competent, Her ability to explain the procedure step by step, as it was happening was very assuring

The staff is very professional. The office is very clean. The service is the best. I've had three root canal's done by Dr. Jue he's quick and very professional. I felt I was in good hands. I have and will continue to refer them to friends and family.

Dr. Duarte is awesome! I was relieved that she was extremely gentle and calming during my procedures. She explained everything clearly and was very knowledgeable. She is the first dentist that I wanted to go back to. I highly recommend her!

Wow- I have SO many good things to say about this place! As a chronic dental-work-avoider, I was not stoked to be going to see an Endodontist for a second opinion on a possible root canal. but as soon as I walked into the office, every single person was so kind and easy going, I couldn't help but feel relaxed. Erica & Angie at the front desk were wildly patient with me, and overall a joy to speak to. Denise assisted me seamlessly & had a great sense of humor.

And I truly cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Duarte- I literally went from on the verge of tears to laughing in minutes, simply because she is so well versed and professional. You can tell she genuinely just wants to help people, even if it means we don't require her services. Thank you to everyone at Ventura Endo for their kindness & knowledgeability!

I came here to fix a root canal that another office had done poor work on. Dr. Yamamoto was able to remedy my issue and offer nothing but solutions. Very knowledgeable and friendly doctor with the patient's best interest in mind. The entire staff here is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I never have any issue booking an appointment when I need to and always feel welcome. 10/10 recommend!

Clean place with same pandemic hurdles that makes one to criticize and tell them but can't. Overall, a good practice (Endodontics) place if you want a root canal issues. Mine he couldn't solve with proper recommendations since I am new in the area.

I am so lucky to have found Ventura Endodontics! I'd never had a root canal before and they made this a comfortable procedure! Dr. Erin Duarte is absolutely amazing! She explained everything she was doing during the root canal. She is kind and personable - I felt that she really cared about my well being! She even called me after hours to check on me. Her staff is wonderful and thorough as well. I highly recommend this office!

I can't say enough great things about this place. I was in severe tooth pain. I went to 2 different dentist in a 24hour span. They both did X-rays but we're not able to help me. I called Ventura Endodontics and they were able to squeeze me in. They did X-rays and another test to see that my whole jaw was infected. The pain pills were not working and I went in exhausted and had moments of crying.

All the staff were very kind! From the front desk, the dental assistant to the dentist. They were all very compassionate. The Dentist was amazing! He was thorough and helped me feel comfortable. The office is clean, the room faces a nice garden and the vibes are calm. I highly recommend them!

My first time at Ventura Endodontics and everyone there was so nice and caring. The office staff was great as well as the dental assistants. Dr. Jue was absolutely the best. He explained everything he did during the root canal and what I would be feeling. He was very caring and compassionate. I really appreciate the way I was taken care of. Thank you!

Updating to say that I had my follow up with my dentist. The X-Rays show that the root canal retreatment was successful and the dark halo around the tip of the root is now gone. This confirms my 5 star review.

Dr Duarte has mad endodontic skillz! The rest of the staff is friendly and efficient as well. If you have a root that needs canaling, I can whole heartedly recommend this group. Ventura Endodontics is 2 Legit 2 Quit!

Dr. Duarte by far is the best dentist I have ever seen. Speaking as someone who has a lot of experience with other places not giving me the help I need, she went above and beyond helping me. I had an emergency appointment, and was seen right away. Her bedside manner made all the the pain and stress id been through disappear. After the trauma I had already been through with other places, I didn't know a root canal could be that painless. Will be recommending to everyone I know!

Three separate people were unable to assist with booking an appointment. I was passed around several times over a couple of days. At one point I was getting upset lack of service and help. Then I was accused of yelling even though I was driving and on speaker & frustrated. I guess these people never heard of human emotion. Then they refused to help me & said they would have an admin call me. They never did. I called back. Admin out til next weds.

Great staff! Fantastic Endodontist! Dr. Jue saved my teeth and was able to do so in a gentle, patient and skillful manner. Thank you Dr. Jue!

I waited all weekend, in pain, for someone to look at my tooth. I was in complete agony. I was referred to Ventura Endodontic by a long time friend and dentist. The front office staff acted as if i were an imposition on their time. In fact, I was told they had done me a favor by making an "emergency" appointment. Dont they get emergency appointments ALL THE TIME?

Who plans or expects a root canal over the weekend? Isn't that how they get a majority of business? Referrals? I wonder if the partners (doctors ) know how poorly the front office treats the patients, most whom are suffering the same as I was today. I was bullied and berated by the front office staff. Pushed into discussing cost for treatment, when I was only there for a consultation.

I left after an hour. I watched these "professionals" treat other patients in my same position with the same indifference and hostility. I wish I could tell the actual doctors how bad an experience i have had.

Dr. Duarte has impeccable bedside manner. I was pretty nervous about having a root canal, but that was short lived because she made me feel so comfortable. The front and back office staff were also great.

When my husband called to make an appointment, they quoted him how much it was going to cost. They called the day before the appointment to verify and quoted him the same amount they did the first time. When he was finished his appointment, the amount they charged him was $50 more! The girl at the front couldn't tell him why. Plus the girl he spoke to on the phone was rude. Needless to say, he won't be going back.

I was referred to this office by my long time Dentist Dr. Babbitt who I love and been his patient for 20 years now, I needed a root canal specialist for my tooth. The staff were all so happy and reassuring and when I met Dr. Yamamoto, he was so kind and caring and upbeat. I instantly felt comfort and confidence in him. He really took the time to listen to me and my concerns.

I was so happy with him and his office luckily, I had a referral from my family dentist that I trust but just wanted to say if you are looking for Endodontics this is the place. They won't let you down. Great customer service, wonderful staff. A little kindness go's a long way and I felt so safe they were doing all the covid protocols and then some. Every one was wearing there protective gear properly. and that it self eased my concerns. Thank you for your level of professionalism and the welcoming atmosphere.

I don't write Yelp reviews often, and only do so when I've had an exceptional experience. Everything from the time I made the appointment to the completion of the root canal was pleasant. Dr. Yamamoto and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the office seemed to have all the proper COVID safety precautions in place. I am very cautious and worried about the whole COVID situation, but the office and wonderful staff put me at ease.

Not once did I feel uneasy or worried about possible exposure. Dr. Yamamoto was very helpful and answered all my questions (I had plenty). We also had a good chat about family and NBA basketball. I would definitely return to Ventura Endodontics if need be. Keep up the excellent work!

I was referred to Dr. Yamamoto from another dentist recently for a root canal. The staff was very friendly and I didn't have to wait more than maybe 4min to go back after paperwork. They had safety precautions all around for COVID since my last visit which I appreciated, and Dr. Yamamoto numbed me up painlessly. He explained exactly what happened and answered all my questions. Procedure was over in less time than I thought and cost less than other quotes I received.

Had an appointment set for over a month for Part II of my Root Canal. They confirmed my appointment the day prior. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, during a pandemic, while many patients came and went. They're either negligent or running a racket. After 90 minutes I cancelled and booked an appointment elsewhere.

I went to see Dr Yamamoto in Ventura recently. If you or someone you know has become ill or died after seen Dr Andrew Yamamoto please report the event to the appropriate authorities immediately. If you have been verbally abused or mistreated by Yamamoto, please also file a report here on Yelp to protect your community. My personal experience at Ventura Endodontics was frightening.

If I had followed doctor Yamamoto pseudo-medical advice I would be in a hospital or dead according to my former dentist. I was lucky to get a second opinion from a real doctor or I would not be alive to tell the story. I don't know if his two other partners are any good but I know they are allowing Dr. Yamamoto to ruin the reputation of their business.

They may be great but this is their intake questionnaire. Note that I'm told to "answer 'no' to all questions. (in the green top left) Given the life-threatening possibilities of obeying those "doctor's orders". Would I go to Ventura Endodontics? Answer: NO (doctor's orders)
