Emax. I am in total fear of trying a dentist after she lied to me about both teeth she used emax on that began to crumble. She blamed it on stomach acid yet every tooth she didn't fix never had a problem (25 year old work!) except those emax. The guy she sent me to to color the only tooth she would replace said that is absolutely not true no matter how bad the acid is.

I lost the back tooth. Fear! Panic. The tooth next to it lost the crown. So both my back teeth are gone. My $3,000 straight teeth have shifted and overlap and I am freaked out now knowing how bad a dentist can fuck up your teeth and not be responsible. I cannot afford to have the mess she left repaired. SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SMILE ONLY MONEY or she would have replaced both no shape emax lump of material crumbling back teeth where emax is not recommended for.

I never was afraid of the dentist until she refused to fix my original emax tooth and lied. If there had been a problem with the tooth in front of the one I lost I WOULD HAVE PAID NOT TO LOSE THAT TOOTH TOO. And By The Way - My cousin and brother had the exact same problem with their emax teeth and they don't have acid. She should fix both teeth for free. She's a liar and that comes from multiple professionals! A dentist can ruin your teeth and you pay them for it. THANKS RUTH. ~Merry Christmas~

So many only do reviews when they have a bad experience. But when I think a business is so amazing, it needs to be stated as well. Dr. Shifman is truly a great dentist, and a wonderful, caring person. And that goes for the ENTIRE staff at her office. They all are incredible. My entire family is thankful we were able to find them. If you are looking for someone to take care of the dental needs for you and your entire family, you WILL NOT find a better group of hard working and caring people. I was not asked to write this review. I did it on my own because I think it is important.

I called the office and found out that she is not an Endodontic. The person I spoke with didn't seem to care about the misleading advertising on yelp.

Truly amazing dentist and team. I have been seeing Dr Shifman for at least 16 years and we have had different specific issues and dental emergencies from playing sports. They are caring and extremely qualified at what they do. Dr Shifman did amazing cosmetic dentistry for my husband when he broke several teeth playing soccer twelve years ago. His veneers still look amazing and natural.

This office has been able to care for my disabled mother in her various stages of dental needs and they are AMAZING with children. Hands down, I would recommend Northbank Dental to anyone!

I visited Northbank Dental this morning and could not be happier with the entire experience. When I made my appointment yesterday, I knew it was going to be a pleasant experience after speaking with Debbie. Dr. Shifman and her staff are by far the best dental professionals I have ever dealt with and truly look forward to getting my teeth back in check with these great people. thank you thank you thank you.

Always friendly and attentive. I have very difficult teeth and have been to several dentists and oral surgeons; Dr Shifman is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I now have two small children and they LOVE "going to the Doctor" they have been going to Dr Shifman since they were born and truly enjoy going to the dentist.

I have been coming here since I pretty much had teeth! The staff is absolutely amazing! They know my family by name! It's a warm and inviting atmosphere with only the best of the best taking care of my teeth/ mouth! Cavity free for 22 years on this earth, as well as my mom too for 50+ years! I have been going to Dr. Shiffman for at least 17 years and she is fantastic. Dr. Shiffman and her colleagues are extremely knowledgeable and also very warm and gentle when procedures are being done. Their first priority is patient care and comfort. I recently moved to Sacramento, and I STILL am driving down to Ventura just to get expert dental care. North bank dental cares about your health and well-being. There is no other dentist I would rather see!

The staff are incredibly nice here. There is essentially no discomfort experienced at this place. At other dentists I wouldn't get jaw rests for 2+ hour procedures. I wouldn't get the level of compassion in my diagnosis and treatment. At other dentists were so aggressive and did not address my requests and help prevent any pain. I have NEVER felt that here. This place will be the only dentist I go to for now on.

Been going here for years. She's kind, considerate and her staff is great. I've moved out of state but still travel home back to her.

New patient. Due to previous traumatic experiences with dentists, I have to coaxed down from the ceiling. Dr. S came out to the waiting area to introduce herself. Once in the chair she narrated every move made. She offered to provide me with way more info about my teeth than I wanted. She has been kind, soothing and, seems to be current on techniques & uses updated technology. I'm a fan.

I recently became a patient of Dr. Shifman and I could not be happier. The staff is very caring and helpful and Dr. Shifman took time to explain different options for my tooth issues. She referred me to Ventura Endodontics for further treatment fast and efficiently so when I had to go on an emergency basis it was handled quickly with my latest X-rays being at office for them to treat the issue. I will recommend Dr. Shifman to my friends and family.

Literally the best. Her staff is top notch and care is unparalleled. I am so thankful to have found a DDS that explains things thoroughly and is so patient and kind. Not only does she give all and any possible options and is truthful in her recommendations. I was referred to Dr. Shifman after seeking out a multitude of different dentists. She absolutely knows her stuff and her staff is a true reflection of her professionalism. Thank you so much to Dr. Shifman - I'll be a lifetime patient!

By far the best dentist experience ever and I'm not fond of going to the dentist. Everyone in the office is friendly which is great but I loved that they explained what they were doing throughout the procedures. Dr. Shifman's anesthetic skills amazed me, I felt zero pain. They followed up to see how I was doing which says a lot to me. I don't know if I'll ever be exited to go to the dentist office but going to Northbank Dental Center definitely makes me feel more at ease.

I've been going here for years now. I trust them implicitly. Got my husband and his brother switched over. If you want to go to a dentist where everyone is super friendly, helpful and professional, this is your place. Every element is great, from the pleasant physical space, to the people - front desk, hygienists and Dr. Schiffman. Everyone is exceptional. Best cleaning and thorough exams. We love Dr. Shifman's office! EVERYBODY is nice and professional there. Great vibe, excellent quality and delightful competency. It's a great place to get your teeth taken care of. I've been in dental offices that try to sell you products and/or are pushy. These guys are none of that at all and that's why my wife and I look forward to our dental visits! Great place!

Dr Shifman is a great dentist. She takes care of my crowns & uses the most up to date materials. Her staff is great also, both those working the admin. duties & those working with the doctor. A shout out to Kerry for having all the answers to my insurance questions.

First time visit for my husband and self. Did not disappoint. Great friendly staff. Clean well appointed exam rooms. Dr. Shifman was thorough, explained and addressed all our concerns. Chose this office because of the other positive reviews and they were right. Our dentist for life.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Dr. Shifman yet! If you are in the Camarillo area and need a dentist- she MUST be your go-to. Friendly staff, welcoming office environment and Dr. Shifman works magic with her patients (at any age). I have ALWAYS hated the dentist, but after visiting her, I will never go anywhere else. I heard of her through a family friend when I was living in Woodland Hills about 2 1/2 years ago and decided to make the trek to visit her office. IT WAS WORTH IT!

I will never visit another dentist. I have recently moved to Toluca Lake and have continued to visit her at least 2 times a year. She is charismatic, funny, extremely skilled in what she does and truly cares about each and every one of her patients. If I could give a higher star amount- I would. Keep it up Dr. Shifman!
