Awesome group of surgeons. I was able to get an appointment in just a few days. Dr. Boyce is very personable and put me at ease immediately with his friendly and casual manner. He discussed my situation and treatment needs. The office is very comfortable and the staff is very professional as well. Best oral surgeons in the East Valley!

I highly recommend this practice. The office staff is super nice and helpful. They always make you feel at ease when you arrive, which is really nice, because you are there for surgery! Dr. Boyce has put in 2 implants and also done a skin graft. He is EXTREMELY skilled and cares about his patients. My daughter had all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed here with NO complications and a VERY easy recovery. Please don't hesitate to go to this practice if you need any type of oral surgery. I would give them TEN stars if I could!

My daughter saw Dr. Romney. His staff was pleasant and took very good care of my daughter. She was very apprehensive about having oral surgery. There were some tears and James did a great job of getting her talking so she didn't even realize that he had put in an IV. The surgery was quick and went well. I was impressed that we received calls from both the office staff and then later in the evening from Dr. Romney checking on our daughter after her surgery. I recommend Dr. Romney and his staff if you need oral surgery.

Dr. Romney was Excellent! His friendly personality made my initial visit very good! On the day of my extraction his office staff and medical technicians made everything run smoothly. I never had any pain and it was amazingly a pleasant experience. In addition Dr Romney staff called the afternoon of the procedure and a little later in the day Dr. Romney himself called to be sure all was well. I'd highly recommend AZ Max Surgeons and specifically Dr. Romney!

To give a little background. I had an extremely bad dental experience in WA state. It took me 3 years to finally jump and see what could be done to correct my problem. I first met with Dr. Boyce in Nov. of 2021. After his consultation with me, and total evidence of his collaboration with Dr. Sullivan, my dentist, I decided to have the extensive dental work done that they recommended for me.

They managed to gain my total trust and confidence immediately. Dr. Boyce and his team were incredibly professional, from the front office to his technicians. He told me in the beginning that my situation was "predictable" and laid out what I could expect. He completed my surgery in late December. Dr. Boyce, rocked my surgery, my recovery was very quick, was problem free and to my amazement painless.

With each follow up I was seen on time, the bedside manner so to speak was awesome and I can actually say I have fun and come out laughing whenever I am in his practice. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Boyce and his team!

Ive been to AZ Max 3 times and my husband once - each time, we were given the best care. My last visit was a bit of an emergency, and the schedulers and staff were amazing, getting me in hours earlier than my scheduled appointment. In fact, I was already back at home after an extraction by the time my original appointment came around. I know that can't always be the case but when it mattered most, they took care of me. Dr. Romney and Dr. Boyse are extraordinary!

Dr. Boyce and his staff were amazing, my family and friends have gone to Dr. Boyce for removal of wisdom teeth and other surgical procedures. I would recommend AZ Max to everyone. Not only is the staff so nice and friendly the facility is so clean and makes you feel very comfortable. I will continue recommending people to AZ Max, as they are the best in the valley!

My experiences at AZ Max were very positive. They sent me all the paperwork they needed filled out in advance, so I didn't have to waste time doing that at my appointment. My initial consultation went very well. Dr. Romney explained his reasons for doing a certain procedure, expressing concern about some medical conditions I have. He very much considered my input.

The day of the surgery was so easy! Dr. Romney was chatty throughout the entire procedure, so it went quickly, and it was pain free! His assistants are very friendly and very competent, too. All in all, AZ Max is a great place!

I can't say enough good things about our experience at AZ Max Surgeons. Everyone through the entire process including clerical staff, surgical assistants and the surgeon himself (Dr. Romney) were knowledgeable, efficient and kind. My son had little to no pain and his swelling and bruising was minimal in the days following the procedure. The post procedure after care booklet was very helpful and guided us through the healing easily. I highly recommend this office for any oral surgery procedures.

AZ Max Surgeons is awesome. Dr Romney took great care of me. He was upbeat and thorough discussing the procedures, why and what. Assistant Lulu was awesome awesome and helpful. The whole staff helped me get thru this dental implant sinus lift operation. Can't say enough of how well I was taken care of in their care. Modern equipment, Great Facility, & X-ray techniques, give good and thorough showing of what needs to be done. My brother had work done there, and my 2x girls have gone their also for dental work previously. Highly recommend them. I Love & Trust this team! God Bless AZ Max.

Dr. Austin Just did my third set of dental implants over a 6+ year period. As in the past, the process was easy from beginning to end and no pain that a few days of Advil could not handle. Thank you to you and to your wonderful staff.

Had awful tooth pain and was sent to Dr. Porter to have molar extracted. I was not looking forward to this as I remember how awful it was 40 years ago (my last extraction). Dr. Porter and his staff did a fantastic job. I had no pain following the procedure. After two weeks all is well and no more pain. Thank you! Henry Friesen Winnipeg, Canada

I realize the reviews on this facility are good however I never made it to their office to find out because Alma - office mgr and insurance verification was to call me well before my appt to advise if I had a copay or if my insurance would cover the charge. 3 weeks go by and don't hear one word from Alma or their office. 2 hours before my appt (I need one hour to drive their from my location) I call and inquire.

The girl on the phone can't find Alma anywhere. I explain my situation that I don't want to drive for an hour+ to find out I have to pay several hundred dollars that I don't have. Girl on phone says Alma will call me back - I said I need to know soon because of the distance I have to drive to get there. over half our later still no call.

I call back and was on hold 7 minutes before girl on phone tells me she can't find her. I tell her I want to cancel the appt then because now I cannot make it there on time. She then tells me Alma is calling her right now and to hold as she will put me through to her. I hold 2 more minutes. When Alma finally got on the phone she made a lot of excuses and began her story about their insurance team, etc., etc.and how busy they are. Well, they had 3+ weeks to get the information from BC/BS - it became apparent to me that she never followed up on it and I would have been hit with a big surprise had I gone to the appointment.

What a joke. Apparently they have enough business and don't need mine because I will not go to a dr. whose staff does not do their job. I am so tired of people NOT DOING THEIR JOB. They never called me back prior to appt to advise that they didn't get the insurance info. The dr. may be great but staff can make or break a practice. Too bad Alma doesn't really seem to care about her job. Very sad indeed. I will seek out another provided that cares.

Going to a dentist or endodontics office can be intimidating because we all know how important dental care is and how it can affect overall health. It can be especially overwhelming when trying to find a reputable Oral Surgeon! Over the years I have become very careful of whom I choose to work with and often go to different offices just to feel them out. to see how they are with patients right from walking in the door.

When my dentist and even my endodontist both separately recommended AZ Max I knew right away this was the place to go. From the moment I said hi on the phone when making an appointment to filling out paperwork and eventually working with the staff in back, I was carefully taken care of every step of the way. And well informed which helped me make the decision to be "lights out" for a procedure!

Not an easy choice to make. But damn was it fast and a very comfortable experience overall. Dr. Porter is super cool with a tremendous amount of experience and it shows based on how many folks see his office. He is very kind, and very swift! It maybe a crack of dawn appointment however these folks are on their game 100 / 100! Just be sure to follow their instructions to the letter! You will not be dissapointed for having the AZ Max staff taking care of you!

Great front and back office staff.warm and professional. The oral surgery itself was quick, painless and overall a pleasant experience. Dr Bradley Porter was super.

Dr. Austin did an excellent job! Wisdom teeth removal was not terrifying. I started eating 2 hours after the surgery, nothing's bothering me.

Beautiful office, great staff (warm and professional) and streamlined patient insurance and financial consult processes. I received my surgical consultation from Dr. Porter who was very caring and thorough in his explanation of care and procedure required. I had an extraction and bone graft within a week of the consult, and the surgery process was incredibly smooth and the nurses were very kind and efficient.

They also provide a great information folder explaining everything you need to know pre and post-op. And the best part was I had very little discomfort or inflammation! I highly recommend Dr. Porter and AZ Max!

I wish this place was my dentist office. They deserve 100 stars! Not only was dr.austin incredibly cool and awesome and sweet! But the staff was simply amazing! There was 2 girls from a different office that helped me out and I really wish I knew their names back in November they deserve a raise I had the best experience with them! And the front office are great! Thank you guys for such a warm incredible environment you have provided I felt safe and taken care of the whole time! Bless you all!

I can't say enough about Dr. Porter and his team. The best experience I have to say considering I had my wisdom teeth taken out. Lol! I started by taking my son and he had 5 teeth removed with Dr. Porter. They called that afternoon to check on him and his recovery was quick. Next it was my daughters turn and she had 6 teeth removed and again best experience with the team and Dr. Porter.

He recovery was same quick and no issues. Last I went in and had my wisdom teeth removed. They did a phenomenal job with all three of us and I can't say enough of the professionalism and care we got. I'm referring every person that needs extractions to Dr. Porter and his team! Thank you AZ Max!

A few months ago, I went into my dentist expecting to have a filling replaced (I thought it fell out, as it had twice before), only to learn that the nerve in my tooth was shot and, long story short, I found myself requiring a tooth extraction that same day. My dentist, desperate to get me in after I had been suffering from months of pain, set the appointment up for me.

She called them, handed me the referral paperwork, and off I went. She selected this location for me due to the proximity to my home. There were things that I both liked and disliked about this office, but overall I was a happy customer. First, I came in frightened and unprepared. I hadn't fasted or anything because this was a last minute surgery - that morning I had woke up only expecting a filling.

I did not like the scoldings I repeatedly recieved from everyone from the front desk to the nurse and to the doctor himself. I kept reminding them that this was scheduled only an hour before, I hadn't expected a surgery that day. This was usually followed by an awkward, "Oh." but never an apology for chewing me out. Second, I have unique medical situations.

I have both an insanely tiny mouth that makes dental work both difficult and painful (hence why I was getting a tooth pulled and not getting a root canal and crown), and I have ridiculously small veins. It's genetic, all my siblings are that way, and very few medical professionals ever believe me when I tell them this. They think I'm just afraid of needles or something, or that I'm exaggerating. Phlebotomists end up sticking me three or four times before they admit that, oh, wow, I was telling then the truth, huh? Urgh, I hate that. Honestly, this place was no exception.

They just didn't believe me when I told them this. The doctor had to ask me twice to open my mouth wider before he realized I physically couldn't, and everyone dismissed my small veins. I asked if I could at least drink water before the surgery, so my veins could be as large as possible - oh, no, that couldn't happen! Was I crazy? Fine.

Do they have, like. a baby needle, then, for the IV? Don't worry, they said, the doctor NEVER misses. In fact, he's JUST SO GOOD, that everyone says he has X-ray vision. The doctor himself even bragged about how he was. I needn't worry -he's a medical superman, he knows how to do an IV. Here is what happened when I was in the chair and he tried the IV: Doc: okay, let's find that vein. *taps around*. oh, those are small veins. but it's fine.

The hand still works.*stick* Me: Ow, ow, it burns. please hurry. ow. Doc:. Me:. um. please tell me you got it? Doc:. no, I didn't. Me: Then WHY do I still feel that needle in my HAND?! Doc: oh, right. We'll try for a better vein. you really weren't lying, were you? Srsly. I had a massive bruise that took longer to heal than my mouth did, just because of that.

So they lost major points for that. But, they were nice here, so I still give them four stars. My mouth healed quickly and cleanly, no complications. Also, they gave me a discount on the x-ray, because my dentist had sent one over, too, and a few weeks ago, I got a refund check from them, I guess my derp-insurance covered more than originally planned. Generally speaking, I would recommend them again.

This business is like none other! I went in due to am emergency referral by my own dentist, and went w great apprehension. I can be "adult" and brave in any situation. except dental! The receptionists out front, the assisstants in the rooms, and the doctor (I was assigned Dr Porter) were kind, sincere, calming, and knowledgable. All were gentle yet factual and straight-forward.

But wait! There's more! When it came to talk numbers, I had already done my research on what tooth extractions cost (with and without sedation. you know which option this pansy-baby wanted!). Since I have such high-maintennance dental needs, my insurance was maxed out for the year. Not to worry at THIS establishment, because they will actually still erase or excuse the portion my insurance WOULD have paid, had I not already exceeded my amount!

What an unbelievably wonderful surprise. Ultimately, I had 11 teeth extracted (WITH sedation, of course), and paid a total of just under $1200. If you have price shopped, you know this is an extraordinary price! The entire process took less than an hour; they had me well.prepared beforehand, and provided excellent follow-up care. All staff is professional and sincerely compassionate, and the fee reduction they offer with maxed-out insurance makes this place AMAZING! I have never had such a truly "painless" dental experience in my 50+ years!

Dr. Austin and his staff are awesome! Very professional and friendly. My husband, daughter and I have had tooth extractions. My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth pulled. I was the nervous one. Lol my daughter was calm and relaxed. I highly recommend!

Very nice, professional, and accommodating. They even follow up to make sure your ok Dr Austin is the surgeon I used and he was awesome. If you have any oral surgeon needs that's where I would go without hesitation.

The bright shining stars are the staff that are so helpful and caring. You just know you are in caring hands. The DDS is very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. One of the young women stood by me and explained everything that was happening in my mouth during the two extractions and the Dr Porter spoke up about things going on that the nurse was unaware of. No one 'loves' tooth extractions. But this was right up there as the best.of a situation you would not want to undergo.

Wonderful staff and doctors. Seem genuine and patient with questions and concerns. Excellent care!

I went to Dr. Austin on Feb 5th to have a broken tooth removed and an implant done in the same procedure. I was in the office for about 90 minutes. After leaving the office I had no bleeding and used a total of 3 pain pills. I very highly recommend Dr. Austin and his staff. Lloyd Stucke

Came here for a consultation last week, and went through the full procedure today. Got four wisdom teeth taken out. I was honestly a little apprehensive about it, because one of my lower teeth was VERY close to the nerve canal in my jaw, but as far as I can tell everything went really smoothly! The entire office staff is really nice, and took the time to explain every aspect of both the procedure and the billing structure. Dr. Porter was really professional and had a pleasant demeanor.

All in all, I had a really positive experience at this location (I mean, getting your wisdom teeth out is never fun, but at least this was as easy as I can imagine it could be)! One thing to be careful of is that the office can be a bit tricky to find. If you turn left into the area from Brown rd, it's the last office to your immediate left.

Dr Porter and his staff are so kind. The genuinely care about your health. I had dry socket today that needed to be packed. Very painful might I add. During the procedure I started to cry, his nurse actually took the time to wipe my tears away. One of the kindness things that a health care professional has ever done. Thank you so much.
