Dentistry For Children - Benjamin Cho

Both of our kids have seen Dr. Cho and his assistants for their check ups twice a year since they were 3 years old. They are now 14 and 11 years old. Both happen to have no cavities and Dr. Cho has always been professional when pointing out any concerns. He was the first to notice that our daughter had extra teeth that needed to be removed and also explained why she needed a referral to orthodontics.

In addition, Dr. Cho let us know my son had pits in his molars that needed to be sealed as a preventive measure and we were very happy with the work Dr. Cho performed to address that issue. Dentistry for Children was an exceptionally clean environment even before Covid protocols were implemented. The office is also cheerfully decorated and welcoming to children and families. We highly recommend Dr. Cho and Dentistry for Children to anyone who desires top notch dental care.

Been to the other dentists (wasted about $140 - $160 consultation fees each time, even encountered a rude staff!) and they insisted on wanting to only use IV sedation during our daughter's tooth decay treatment. Knowing the potential adverse effects of IV sedation as well as hearing those tragic cases that some children have died, this is something we did not want to risk for our 3 year old.

After diligently searching the web, finally found a dentist who competently performed the procedure WITHOUT IVs! Thanks to Dr. Cho and we had a safer option for our daughter! There are no words to describe how HIGHLY we recommend Dr. Cho to all the parent's out there who care for their young one's safety. You can feel confident in placing your children into Dr. Cho's miraculous hands! Staff are also very welcoming.

Dr Cho is excellent! I travel 1 hr 45 min in bay area traffic to take my children to see him. That is how much I trust his care! He always explains the plan of care, current problems or potential problems. He is conservative in his treatment of dental issues which I appreciate. He doesn't waste my time or money with unnecessary treatments. Both he and his staff are kind and patient with my children.

They are always smiling and friendly. Dr Cho wants visiting the dentist to be a positive experience and he meets children at their level. My kids always look forward to their visits with eager anticipation (sounds strange but is true!). It is difficult to convince other people in my area to travel so far for a dentist but I recommend him to all my friends with small children!

This place is amazing! What a refreshing change :) (backstory: my former dentist in SJ was a new owner replacing my longtime dentist after he retired. She didn't really seem incredibly friendly or caring & told us we needed to find a dentist specializing in kids for my young daughter's X-rays to fit her tiny mouth, but I could continue going as an adult.

I knew it was time for a change). SO, THANKFULLY I CHECKED YELP.after I read all the wonderful reviews, I knew I had to check it out Dr. Cho. I was SO happy we found him! The staff are so caring and patient with the children. They are amazing when doing procedures & making my children comfortable and not intimidated. I feel like the girls in the back could be preschool teachers as they're SO great with the kids, Dr. Cho is awesome at what he does & explains things very clearly, and the ladies at the front desk are so helpful & friendly.

The ambiance is very modern, sleek & spa like, which is a huge plus for adults too! There are huge spaces with plenty of entertainment in the waiting room for children w/ an adult waiting room also. They are sincere and friendly while talking to you about anything regarding tooth concerns, treatment and very helpful w/ insurance also. It's a wonderful atmosphere to walk in and know you'll be taken care of. Thanks Dr. Cho & ladies!

My little brother and I have been coming to this dentistry even before Doctor Cho began here. So you better believe it when we say this place is amazing. My experience has been Five Star quality from the beginning and I can talk all about it, but I want my review to revolve around my brother's experience. For context, my brother is autistic and the dentistries we had gone to previously were, in few words, incredibly intolerant and ignorant of that important fact.

I'm always so thankful that our parents found Dentistry for Children early on in our childhoods. Unlike our previous dentists, they understood that my brother didn't need rough, traumatic treatment at all. Doctor Harris (founder, long-retired) had us loving going to the dentist, and Doctor Cho (whom he trained) is no different. I feel that what sets them apart from our previous dentists is that they actually took the time to learn about my brother.

Every appointment since day 1 they learned how to work with him, and gradually built their knowledge whilst applying it at every future appointment. Never had an issue. This dentistry has seen us grow since elementary school, and now we're both college-attending adults that continue to love going to the dentist.and getting a toy.

We have had 3 visits so far and have had great experiences each time. The receptionists are always very welcoming and always have a good attitude. Dr. Cho is also really patient and takes the time to give you the help and advice you need. I never felt like he was trying to rush us out or wanting to move onto the next patient. We have a 2 yr old and a 3 mo old. We'll definitely be bringing our 3 mo old once he's ready

Dr Cho and his staff are kind and sweet with children. Adult have their own relaxing space. The office is pleasant and clean and well decorated. No waiting. Always on time.

Dr. Cho is informative and try to think about the patient's well-being from the parents' perspective. Our 2 year old son has a mouthful of cavities and we are not comfortable putting him under general anesthesia. Dr. Cho treated his cavities without using general anesthesia or even Novocain. My son has experienced little to no pain during each visit. Overall, our experience there has been awesome!

Dr Cho is great! He's really good with our stubborn daughter and genuinely willing to help our child have healthy teeth. He taught us how to brush her teeth most effectively, and also showed us her problem areas where we needed to focus more. Plus, my daughter always leaves with a balloon and also got a prize for her first visit : Thanks Dr Cho!
